TONIGHTS SHOW - PRIMO - 27TH DECEMBER
Tonight Sarah Champion and Ed Giddins will be in the studio to cover Primo.
Trevor Harris will be on the phone from home while he is taking part in Play The Presenter.
As well as the 8pm Primo we will also be covering 7.30pm Santa's Xmas Sack, 9pm £1K, 9.30pm £1.5K Bounty Hunter and the 10pm Velocity - so a lot of poker action from across the whole site!

OK HERES A QUESTION.A FAIR FEW PLAYERS ARE COMING ONTO THE FORUM AND SAYING THEY KEEP ON GETTING THERE CHIPS IN FIRST LIKE EVERYONE TELLS YOU TO DO ONLY TO BE CALLED WITH A FAR LESS SUPERIOR HAND.AND THE LESSER HAND KEEPS HITTING THEIR WONDER OUTS RUNNER RUNNER ETC.HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY COMBAT THIS?NOW WITH ALL THIS TOTAL PLAYER COMPETITION COMING INTO THE LIMELIGHT ARE THE ANALYSTS GOING TO PICK THESE PLAYERS WHO KEEP ON LUCKING OUT PURELY ON THE BASIS THEY ARE BEING SUCCESFUL?AFTER ALL POKER IS SOLELY ABOUT WINNING ISNT IT?DEBS
Anyways, Can you ask Ed , what should I do ? I'm playing in the Primo satellite earlier with around 6500 ish chips 4 to qualify and about 12 left .. I'm under the gun with A 10, blinds are 400/800 ...I raise up to 1600 .... all pass till the BB who with around 6000ish re-raises making it 3200 ..
So do I pass call or re-raise All-in ?? (pot odds, has he a monster or a bluff, have I live cards blah blah) Anyways as I'm a coward, no ba lls .. I ................ I'm all-in !!
He eventually calls and shows AQ .. Off course I make a straight on the river
But who's right and who's wrong because I then get abuse in the chat box , from exit player and his mate for the way I played the hand , and also saying,
"I PUT MY WHOLE TOURNAMENT ON THE LINE WITH A 10" ??
I replied, "I was the aggressor and what was so special about AQ anyways ? and I wasn't putting my whole, 'tournament on the line' it was a satellite and there's a difference" !
OK anyways, "Ive been known to be wrong before" so, another wrong is OK !!

In respect of the quad 6s v full house hand. Would you not be better in the long term to massively overbet on the end (shove all in 1600 chips), even though there is only 500 in the middle? In my opinion the opponent calls often enough, either believing that he's playing the board, or even more likely with a better full house (higher pocket pair) to make this play worthwhile.
i'd always check it back to the opponent when he only checks his quads, because any hand that can call me is at best splitting the pot and far more likely beating me.
