Bit more calmer today, no big daddy losing pots which certainly prevented any more major damage. First losing over 20bb KQss flop 2nd nut flush 8910, bet get raised smooth call turn pairs board they shove I call 97o they river str8 flush, 2nd AK 3bet aggro psycho they flat I miss flop obvz, cbet they call then shove J turn I sigh fold, last one not sure on, it's in clinic. Much more winning hands though including last one hit set and probably played it too fast and lost value which is a darn shame.
Another losing session to pretty much cancel out earlier small winning one, only one losing pot above 20bbs, AK 3bet pre miss flop obvz, cbet gets snap called then have to check fold turn, a few decent winning ones but nothing mega as most big hands got zero action real getting blood out a stone session. Start BR - £414.52
Today was a rollercoaster of a day. My first goal was to get into UKOPS #2. After failing at 2 of the frenzy sats I bought into the semi. After making it to the bubble I got a double-up when I raised from the button with AAJJ, villain played back at me with QQxx, I guess he thought I was just stealing. After this I cruised to the finish. Overall I spent about £25 on sats for the £55 seat, so I consider this a success. First proper tourney was OHL #1. I went out pretty early on 2 bad beats/coolers, first one I flopped top set, villain turned quads, second one I turned nut straight, villain rivered house. In UKOPS #2 I just kept my head down early and got up to about 11k early in the second hour. As I'm not rolled for £55 re-buys or add-ons I was always below average, but I was doing ok. Then I got my aces cracked aipf against a short stack, a few hands later I went out with a flopped set against a rivered flush. Last one was OHL #2. I was still tilted from my UKOPS exit early so I did nothing for the first few levels. The whole way through I was always pretty short, but I managed to survive. At bubble time I was 11/11, but I made it. Early on the final table I was down to just over 2bb, but I managed to pick up chips and stay alive. 3-handed I got a treble-up when I made a full house QQQ55 with AAQ5, and I won it all on the first hand of heads-up. I'm so happy I finally got another good result in a bigger PLO tourney. I hope this will be the start to a great month. 2 cashes (incl sat) out of 6, daily balance +£45.75. Posted by Giant811
Only played the Rich Orford heads-up free-roll yesterday. Did alright for a while, but a top 2 finish was never realistic.
Really good night tonight, all the tourneys were really good fun and high level of play. I didn't cash a PLO bounty hunter and a £3.30 PLO8, finished runner-up in a £20gtd PLO and won the £3.30 PLO.
2 cashes out of 4, daily balance +£11.10, MTD balance +£56.85.
Last update (2 days ago) had £375.29 on the 4th I played for an hour, 4-tabling NL20 for £25ish profit.
Yesterday started with a nasty beat for a loss of £50 at NL50, managed to grind it back and more for a profit of about £50, was 3/4 tabling mainly NL20 with a bit of NL30,40 and 50 thrown in.
I have withdrawn my £30 C4P as that was earnt through last months play.
End BR:£453.40 Points:759 (I never realised how good cash was for C4P!) Month to date profit: £121.40
not a very long session this afternoon - up £3.97 for month now points 243, up £15.32 not much of note after having to top up when my KK got beat by QQ on river allin got most of it back when my top pair held against his flush draw allin on turn.
A decent winning session but nothing amazing, had so many big pairs 3bet pre but darn over card flopped and impossible to continue for any value even worse when it's bloody KK, how can an ace hit ? 3 losing hands over 20bbs first standard all in pre w/JJ vs shortstack w/AQ, i never win races, next was KK 3bet AceH flop chkd round I C/C turn and river he turned set , last one bet 3 strts with overpair on paired board he shoves river I fold not sure if right tho. Got a few good winning pots including raise with AA get sjhoved on pre by QQ and amazingly hold also overcards + FD on flop vs TPTK I hit for nice pot. Also C4P got paid in which decreases losses slightly as well, just 2 and a bit BI's down now
played ukops 1 after satelliting in for 2.40£ cashed for ~115£ and change but took 0 heads so + 113£ finished 27th
played ukops 2 after satelliting in for 6£ thought i played good was top 8 in chips for majority of tournament then took a big hit getting close to bubble then with 25 left chipped up from 19k to 90k in about 2-3 minutes then with 23 left lost a pot for chip lead at the time, would of put me on 165k with average at about 45-50k at the time but left me with 45k and then just couldnt recover from there and ended up 17th for 125£ so profit of 119£
played a few husngs today won about 25-30£
so im like + 262£
with minimum of 2 ukops events left for me to play tonights one and saturdays 110£ so hopefully get a couple of deep runs in those but overall happy with how ukops has gone for me so far
after ukops probably won't play again this month unless something catches my interest although i am generally very lazy so its like 99% sure after sunday that will be me done for the month
Second winning session in a row but only just, pretty much break even for most of it, only two losing hands over 20bbs, 1st QQ facing raise and 3bet I flat, J high flop call bet from 3better 1st raiser then shoves, 3better calls I fold one has OESD + FD other has AA, 2nd one, QQ again I 3bet this time against 60bb stack bet/call on KK7 flop he has AK .
Steady start at NL8, another small winning session. One big winning pot where I 4 bet shoved KK and got called by AK and AJ and held, no major losses. C4P in today as well.
just played a big session 7 tabling 50 nl. should have won a ton but was bleeding money on a couple of tables.
not sure on session specifics as i was messing around at hu earlier and didnt track it. approx 200 up on this session prob down similar number earlier.
month total so far is + £255.67 and have the house to myself tomorrow night so will blast it all into ukops to see if i can spin it up big. only plays one ukops due to work etc so will hopefully do the three remaining tourneys.

Started off hot in the first level of a £3.30 PLO8, but was mostly card dead the rest of the evening. Bubbled the PLO8, got lucky to make it to heads-up in a £20gtd PLO when the 2 big stacks clashed in a flush over flush situation. Managed to double up once, but then ran into a bigger set. Oh well, villain had AAKK, can't really complain too much losing to that hand. Busted the £500gtd just before the break K high flush into A high flush, so at least I saved the add-on.
I also received £5 c4p, which I will include so I don't get confused between my spreadsheet and this thread.
1 cash out of 3, daily balance +£0.70, MTD balance +£57.55.
another short session, but just too tired so stopping before I make silly mistakes. just 2 tables at nl4 as no places free on nl8 tables and couldn't be bothered to wait ended up £4.67 helped by flopping a full house with 7s flop 766, then QQ and opponent had 64. was a bit nitty at times but I put that down to tiredness as I wasn't concentrating. so probably (well definately) lost profit but at least I ended up
C4P also came in but not including here as not this month's poker
at last minute decided to have a quick play. 2 tables at nl4. after losing a BI with AK v A10 - flop AA2 then turn 10 managed to end up a BI exactly. Decided to quit then as the tables started to break up. so a short session. so for month up £23.99 and points 275.
finding that the thread is helping the concentration especially as I don't like posting losses (who doesn't!!). helps me in stopping while ahead and keeping the roll moving.helps me with confidence and generally stops some of the times when I am doing well then get teh cooler or just play one badly and lose most/all profit.
got to have a serious go at nl8 though. only dabbled so far and just over break even. not found much difference just more agression. but if I want to progress I need to do it so will have to bite the bullet when I have time for a decent length of session.

I'm trying to be less moany about variance, so let's just say the cards were not very kind to me today. Made it to heads-up 4 times and lost all and bubbled at 2 of the £20gtd, so a solid losing day despite not playing that bad.
In one heads-up my opponent disconnected and I waited at least 5 minutes, not stealing a single blind even though I was really short. Would be nice to get at least a ty, even if you usually have the chat off. I just don't get people who have no manners.
5 cashes out of 11, daily balance -£12.49, MTD balance +£45.06.
Decent session in terms of points as wanted to catch up after a wee break for whole of yesterday but actual cold cash was hard to come by. Only one losing hand above 20bbs, which I probz overplayed but just couldn't get away from 99 raise 3x pre called by shorty, 1077 flop I bet, 7 turn with potsize being half his stack so I just put him in putting him on random overs which are probz in most their ranges, he turns over quads .
A few alright winning pots but missed out on a biggee that would have changed session, AA raise 3x pre get 3bet from SB followed by flat in BB (I start drooling slightly) so I pop it up to get flat from 3better and AI flat from shorty J high flop he shoves i call shorty scoops the main pot with 87s that rivers flush, I break even, good times.
Mrs watched Cool Runnings Friday night, I watched the remake tonight. Lost 2 big hands with a house, and my AQ hit trip Q's on a KQQ flop to meet a villain with KQ.

Continued to play pretty well and for the most part the cards were much kinder than yesterday. Won a PLO8 and a PLO bounty hunter, but once again ran bad in the £20gtds, probably my strongest regular tournament last month.

No cash in UKOPS main event no run good - exit hand flop TPTK -raise pre, lead flop - called - shove turn-oppo turns a set - 8% & float and loving life - ez game when you run good And yes I wanted a call on the flop all day and everyday v his underpair Only other notable hand all in pre was AK V AK oppo's is suited and obviously oppo rivers a flush Picked up AA twice and KK once and only doubled through once the other two 3 bet and folds, nothing more frustrating on a aggro table. Guess could of flatted at least one raise with such a big hand but hey ho been 3 betting a bit so.... didn't think it would stand out so obvious but that's what you get when the table is so aggro with a raise every hand on the table - no walk for anyone, really good game of poker for two hours, not bad for £2.60 ) The dream has ended, maybe next time :O
