    WOW sounds like its going to be a very exciting week on SkyPoker and I am guessing that those Guarantees are going to get smashed again.

    Unfortunately I won't be able to play that week as I will be away but I am looking forward to future UKOS events in the New Year.

And out of curiousity isnt calling an event after a Christian Holiday sectarian? Or at least that was my understanding to why we have to say "happy holidays" now. suggests UKONYPS (UK online new years poker series) this way avoiding any major issues with the name. I know the abreviation doesnt exactly look good btw.

    good to see UKOPS back although probably won't be playing anything this time round as usually at family all of the Christmas period but hopefully the 4 events go as well as the last

    Thanks for the feedback on the UKOPS Xmas tourneys. 

    Re: the levels of the buy-ins, I think the idea is to keep them at a certain level to make sure the buzz around the event and the prizepools themselves carry a bit of prestige. If you think of a WSOP event which was a $100 buy-in, it would feel a bit odd, right? 

    Anyway, I hope as many of you get involved as possible!

    Great idea - Sky, most will agree this is a fantastic opportunity between the quiet period of xmas and new year and it will be great to play in anoter UKOPS and aim for another cash. (Some of us still have to work lol).

    Some should realise that this site is developing tremendously, and SKY Poker will continue that in 2012 and so forth, so keep up the good work all, excellent being part of a great setup that will get even better and better.

    I am sure all the SKY team are collating all ideas and will further market these next time round to aim for even better festivals to cater for an even bigger crowd.

    Well done again - enjoying the whole site.

    Will there be sats for the side events? Any additional PLO/PLO8 tourney is great and might introduce more casual players to Omaha.

    Nice idea that one, Smitalos. All I am going to say is that there are *some* discussions going on around the whole coverage of the UKOPS Xmas. That's all I can really say at the moment. ;)

    Yes we will be covering the UKOPS events this Christmas at the following times and dates:

    On     Tuesday 27th December from 7pm- midnight we will be covering 2 of the side events; £6,000 Open and the £2,000 Gtd

    On     Wednesday 28th December from 7pm- midnight we will be covering the £10,000 UKOPS Double Stack

    On     Thursday 29th December from 7pm- midnight we will be covering the £25,000 UKOPS Bounty Hunter

    AND of course on     Friday 30th December from 7pm- midnight we will cover the £50,000 Main Event.

    Should we come off air before we can announce the winner of each tournament we will show the final table on the following night, except from the Main Event which will be shown on Thursday 5th January from 8pm.

    When will the sats for the other events start. The last UKOPS was a blinding festival due to the massive participation. If the sats don't start soon then most players won't have time to get themselves in. I played many sats last time and have yet to play a single one so far. If Sky are expecting more direct buy-ins than last time I'd be highly sceptical. Please start the sats soon so we can get the buzz going. I haven't heard anyone talking about this UKOPS anywhere near as much as the first. Lets hope it all goes well and the tourneys break the guarantees, but lets get it all firing soon. Best wishes.     When the last Ukops was running sky ran a game for £12 in which the winning won a place into the main event and the next 5 runner ups won tickets into other UKOPS events. It would seem that the numbers entered at present are not encurraging.

    The current sats are expensive and the odds poor.

    Would it be possible to have some more games at £12 with a simular garantee. There would be over 100 players for sure just like before and boost numbers and interest in this series of the UKOPS events.

    The TSP classic regularly pulled numbers of 150 + every night and so did the UKOPS event that replaced it.

    if this was to happen there woukld be far more tickets to play for.

    Its just a thought all the best.

    The main UKOPS page should show the winners in the next 10 minutes or so :) If you still see the tournament line up in the carousel at the bottom, try pressing Control and F5.
