Why does'nt "Team Sky Poker" have a team thread in the "Team Talk" section of this forum.
Don't you think it would be nice to have a Team List and regular contributions from team members, so other players can keep up to date with all the Team Sky gossip?
Who is in the team? How Many Players do You Have? Where Are You Playing Next? Who's Cashing & Who Isn't? Updates on Live Events? or even online tournies
There's so much you could do to get involved in the community. Its nice to be given the chance to play in Team Sky, but for the ones that don't make it and aspire to do so, it would be nice if you could get involved in the community and keep us up to date.
So Come On Team Sky Poker - Get involved with us, So we can show you our support too. (And give you a little bit of Banter )
......Did all (some?) of TSP get free entry to all the UKOPS events? If so, why wasn't this advertised to people playing on the site prior to the quarterly qualification period immediately before UKOPS started? Posted by DOHHHHHHH
It goes without saying that as a member of TSP "Team Sky Poker" you would surely be entitled to a Free Entry to some of the main events from time to time (Live or Online) and why not.
It was a Sky Poker Tournament/Festival afterall so perks of the job I suppose.
I'm not sure advertising it, or not advertising it to the world has any real bearing, benefits or negatives tbh. But it would have been nice to keep up with there progress in these tournies though if they had had their own thread.
It would make TSP more appealling to a wider range of people. Loads of people on the site have no interest in playing a 1k GUKPT, I know this for a fact.
Playing a shed load of massive online tournys however would appeal to everyone.
everytime a thread like this comes up I say there should be alternative prizes for TSP qualifiers. (and normally get slated)
If there was, then why didn't they tell us so that people who wouldn't normally try and make TSP could put more effort in? (pay more rake etc)

No they did not.
We were offered the opportunity to use our TSP Live Balance to buy into UKOPS however, and some took Sky up on this offer.
Just a quick note for people who are interested in becoming future TSP members, Sky do allow you to use your Live Roll to buy into Rollers etc. Its not something that I've took them up on, as I want to be playing as many live tournies as possible, but it is possible and shows that Sky are flexible.
Just lol. Been asking for alternative prizes for months and no1 from sky thought to inform me/people that alternatives were actually available all along. too much head shaking! I know ppl who have basically donked off in the TSP final coz they aren't bothered about playing live..... communication ftw. Thanx for clearing it up anyway Scotty. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
Ahhhh see. things are getting better and clearer already.
Thats why the TSP Team thread will be a good idea and hopefully informative too.
