    Hi all,

it's an early post from me! Hope that you will join us for some Mastercash on Sat night.  Teacakes and I are very pleased to be joined by Redmond 'Lolufold'  Lee in the studio from 9pm. We welcome your banter and questions as usual..

    skyopen@bskyb.com

2 topics to get involved with..

    1.  Never mind mutli-tabling, how about multi-tasking!!  What else are you doing whilst playing online poker??  tv/movies/video games/constant tweeting!  Or do you try and keep your conecentration directly on your poker?  How do you stop your concentration from wandering??

    3.  Another quick one...what do you think the future for online poker is?

    2.  Watched a bit of I'm a celeb tonight.. they really are using the term 'celeb' very loosely this year!!  Anyway....the trial tonight was something I totally wouldn't mind doing (swimming basically..with a  few fish, although definately wouldn't have looked as good doing it, as that chick in the bikini did!) Anyway, it got me thinking what would be my worst type of trial to face!  And, what would be yours?? Spiders, snakes, confined spaces, water, eating animal bits, heights, rats??  Let me know!

See you tomorrow night, enjoy the show, and gl as always on the tables

    A xx

Hi Anna   TK and Mr Redmond Lee just love his lay'd back attitude to Poker as the bad beats comes on the river. "Oh well"! next hand.?

Welcome back TK,  who got some stick from Orford for not winning anything in Vegas, but took it well.  Thought I saw steam coming from the engine.!!  As long as he enjoyed himself that's what counts.

My worst fear is the unknown. !  We were on holiday and visited ancient cave dwelling's.  In the side of the rock face was a hole with writing that said,  "Test your Faith put your hand in the Hole."  Cleaver old me shoved my hand in the Hole and something grabbed it.  "Well scream" you would have heard me a mile away.   The hole went inside the cave and someone had seen it and grabbed my hand.  "Funny now but not at the time.  I could have died of a Heart Attack.!

Have a great Show as always and I will be watching and learning. Hugs x

My  computer monitor sits ontop of my xbox and directly below my TV, so I'm usually playing 3/4 tables of poker and xbox : ) Youtube and Facebook are common additions as well

The Jungle question? The only trials I think I would have a problem with would be the eating ones, I would not even attempt to eat a kangaroo's testicle that's been marinated in buffallo semen for a month, or whatever it is they usualy have as "The main course"....

something I totally wouldn't mind doing (swimming basically..with a  few fish, although definately wouldn't have looked as good doing it, as that chick in the bikini did!), how about wearing your bikini in the studio, we can tell you then ;), hehehehehe

Hi Anna,   Glad you have settled in so well and the boys leave you alone now.  You have gained your Wings and flying high.

My post experience was long before Harrison Ford and his snakes and as I'd seen one of these Holes before on the Isle of Wight and put my hand in it, I thought nothing of it. So when something grabbed me I nearly wet myself.  I would not be able to do it again it's spooked me for life,  so when they have to stick their hands in boxes blind to retrieve stars with all sorts in the boxes I would really struggle to do it.   Spiders Snakes Lizards Ok as long as I can see it. !!   Some of the food sounds terrible to eat but is not that bad when you try it.  Had Bulls dangly bits and Kangaroo sticky out bits and you get a sort of Female satisfaction afterwards. "Chuck another Man on the Barbie Shella" lol   Hugs Annie xx

    Afternoon all.

Redmond was, by concensus, one of our best ever Guests, & recently, he did a Show as the "Main" Analyst. I watched it yesterday, & thought he was abso superb.

Anna, as Logdon wisely notes, has earned her colours now, & is a delight to work with.

So looks like a nice quiet evening for me! No complaints about that.

Keep the questions for Reds coming - skyopen@bskyb.com

You may have noticed, but 865 is upping the educational quotient now, so fire in those questions please.

    See you later. I hope.

    Hey guys,

Hope you have a good show, it's really great to see Redmond back again, he was great last week and it's also lovely to see Tikay back too (I missed Thursday's show). So here are my answers...

    1. I'm really terrible for doing a million things while I'm playing poker, which is probably why I'm not as big a winning player as I think I could be. I'm usually playing about 4 tables, while watching tv or a film, while using Facebook chat to talk to a couple of people, while browsing the Sky Poker forum, and recently I've been doing my online Christmas shopping at the same time too! lol... no wonder I don't win more!

    2. I'm not sure where it's going, I can definitely see the market increasing as more and more new blood comes in all the time. And I think it's only a matter of time before it gets more coverage in the media, which should hopefully reduce the number of ignorant people who think it's just a game of luck and hermits.

    3. Well firstly, you'd never get me going anywhere near that show because I'm terrified of practically everything on it... rats, snakes, spiders, practically any insect, heights (jumping out of a plane to get into the show), confined spaces, you name it! Secondly, I'm disappointed in you Anna for watching such a rubbish show lol, but for me I think the worst thing would be just having to sleep there everynight... I don't even like going to sleep if I know there's a moth in my room so I literally wouldn't get a minutes sleep the whole time I was there!

well Anna i think your worst horror would be to stand at the end of a platform writing down train numbers in a dirty mac as the trains passed a driver sticks his head out of the window. with a big grin on his face, oh my god its calo, you faint with shock, as you come round to the words ANNA, ANNA. you look up into the eyes of rich who is loosening your upper garments to help you breath, ( he says) next to him is nurse Harris. you scream again for tk who by now as wondered of to the local park to feed the ducks.to make matters worse redman then appears and offers to help annualize all your problems with a one to one heads up chat.

hi Anna my fear is rats, one morning i was sat in my dinning room with patio door open and looking at tele text on tv.when out the corner off my eye i see something come onto my patio.yep it was a rat,and also i new my french doors in the kitchen where also open.now im no spring chicken but i have never moved so fast in my life, the patio door i shut so fast i caught my finger nail in it.and me running into the kitchen to close the french doors was a sight to behold.i spent the next 2 hours with my dog on the lead walkiing him round my house just incase the rat had got in but nothing did we find.that day i did not need to take my dog out for a walk i had already wore the poor thing out.good luck with the show xxx

The amount it costs you to buy in and the blinds :)

While I'm playing poker I am either watching channel 865 of course, either that or Sky Sports News while having a beer or two, or maybe coffee depending on how long I expect to be playing and how early I have to be up the next day.

The worst trial I could think of is watching a tape of Phil Hellmuth take bad beat after bad beat and everytime I laughed I would get a huge electric shock!

    Have a great show everyone

i teand to get bored while playing so i teand to browse youtube for music, facebook for chat while also on msn
  • edited November 2011
    Hi Anna,
I'm sure your worst thing would be to realise there is no electric sockets for you hair curlers and straighteners, etc.
Mine would be to have a big tastie burger on a fully glass walkway and not having eaten for 2/3 days, as i have a fear of heights(or falling from height lol), and i can't resist the burgers.
My question for Redmond and Tony is, How much of the game is feeling and how much should decisions be made by the info available.

    Regards
    Col mr-mbro
ps see you at the SPT.

The biggest nightmare I can imagine would be:- Tuning into 865 and finding:-

    Davina Mc Call presenting!

    Simon Cowell giving expert analysis!

    Carlo voicing the diary room!

Tikay and Orford up for eviction!

Have a good show guys & gal!

Quick question for Redmond. Before he starts a marathon session how does he get ready?
e.g. Does he sleep, shower, load his table with snacks/drinks, relax on his playstation, etc or does he just fire up and go?
Silly question I know but in the few higher level games I've played in I've been nervous and found half an hour in the bath before the tournament starts chills me out!
