A real treat tonight poker peeps!  The marvellous Sam Razavi joins us live.  UKIPT winner and all round funny guy Sam gets to travel the globe playing poker and makes a pretty decent living at it too.  His speciality is heads up so we bagged him at the WSOP for some heads up tuition.  So tonight!

    1. What will be your first choice of outfit for Carlo and Jamie when they fail the prop bet as they surely will?

    2. Now on a poker note, I know you like to play mostly HUs cash... short of me just playing it and probably experiencing a big dip in my bankroll, do you have any suggestions about good ways to improve your HU game if you're fairly new to the format? Good books? Forums/training sites?

    the chances that jamie would win a specified main event is, say, 300/1
    and the same for the mini at 300/1.
    therefore, the chances of jamie winning both in one evening is 90,000/1
    if jamie has 180 days to try and achieve this double the odds should have been 500/1

    my question to sam is....

    how on earth did you get an even bet from carlo?

    i have hyperactive joints, i put double jointed to shame.

    Also can you ask sam if he remembers meeting me in Dublin, i was the guy talking to him after he done an interview for someother channel about Liv Borees sister.

    On a serious note, how did you start out in poker and at what levels?

    Great guest, Good evenning all

    My Question to Sam is:

    My biggest problem in poker is BRM, probably like most whats the best piece of advice you can give me for this? i will spin up a roll and then spin it down quite good :P  when i get low £100 and under i will still play games i know that i can beat like £5.50 MTT and sometimes higher if in the mood. Sometimes this works out but sometimes it doesnt but would love to be able to have good BRM because i think this is one of the main reasons i cant go higher.

    hi sarah and sam have a great show :) HIDDEN TALENT  i can squeeze my hands 2getha and click my knuckles :) on a serious note my question to sam is i want to play more heads up games i know by playing can improve your game but i want to know is what kind of range of hands is good to raise small blind v big blind and is it always good 2 c-bet every time u preflop raise and when is it a good time to 3 bet your opponent is it wait till u play with him for a while get a feel on how he plays then do a 3 bet                    many thanks idonkcallu  steve

    Have to say I'm looking forward to tonight!
    Sam's a very funny man and I'm sure chaos will reign in the studio!

    My questions are:-
    When Sam sits down at the start of a live tournament does he set targets to achieve per level?

    How much time does he give himself to get reads on his opponents?

    Would he shove all in on a premium hand at any stage of a tournament or only when he either has his opponent covered or is holding 10 bb or less?

    With regard to the Jackpot has Sam attempted to win it yet? and will he take part in UKOPs now the rewards have proven to be infinitely more succesfull than anticipated?

    there was diff opinions on this

    Don't take offence YG, I'm not moaning at you, but I hate when people say this because I'm brilliant a BRM lol, it's just my poker game I need to improve. Really annoying that everyone else seems to have it the other way round!

    If you've mastered your bankroll Maybe it's your head that needs sorting to improve your game!

    When i've seen you play you've been solid but maybe you're trying too hard to be the perfect player and not using your natural instinct as much as you should!

    If other players weaknesses annoy you Focus should be one of the first areas to concentrate on

    Good eveing to the Lovely Sarah, the Mighty Tikay and the one and only Mr Sam Razavi. I love playing MTT's and do ok at them. I've won a few and had quite a few final tables. My question for Mr Sam Razavi is, how can I improve my profitability without moving to Cash? I play the Main Event every night on Sky Poker (except Sunday) and tend to prefer the fast paced play of Bounty Hunter tournaments, but recently have played my best poker in Straight NLHE games. Should I stop playing every day and try to focus my game on specific tournaments or should I just keep plugging away and wait till it comes along naturally? Best wishes. Shaun the Villa fan in Bham

    Yeah I definitely know what ya mean, thanks for the comments. I definitely feel sometimes like I'm trying to be the perfect player and playing like a robot (sadly, a robot that doesnt know exactly what to do lol)

    It doesn't actually annoy me, what I mean is, I'd love to be brilliant at the game at rubbish at BRM cos BRM is the easy part, that can be easily sorted, even if it's a case of you having like a manager (a friend) who manages your BR and won't let you enter blah blah.

    Can someone put a link up to the Thread which contains the QQ hand please. There is no way Sam, or anyone else, can judge it based on the Info in this Show Thread.

    I just don't believe that you can put someone on a range of just AA and KK fro just a 3bet, unless you've played a silly amount of hands against that opponent. And even if youcan, I don't think you're getting the odds to set-mine here unless you can say for definite you will stack the opponent 100% of the times... (plus you gotta discount times he hits his set of As or Ks)

    I never said we should fold QQ pre, but there's no way we are just set-mining here. You seriously think we should check/fold on a 2710rainbow flop?? Well if the hero KNOWS he has AA/KK then he has to.

    Can I have some advice on the perils of AK

    How aggressive should you be, 3 betting hand? How do you play it when you miss the flop? Do you call 4 bets with AK preflop

    Just help me with my nemesis AK please!

    Was it Colin Moshman by any chance Sam?

    Yeah I meant a dip because I know it's quite high variance. What do you think is good bank roll management for HUs cash. My BRM is fine elsewhere but what do you think you need for HUs, say 100 buy-ins for your level? I know HUs can be very swingy!
