okell v schwartz
was brilliant
Luke was trying to outplay everybody post flop.
Holden always comes across as very shy and quiet.
okell vs schwarz with the jq vs tq was an excellent example of a hand that holds absolutely no interest for the rest of the world but players admire its beauty in the way it was played. As a "non pro" he handled himself well on that table and was unlucky to come out in third position.
As for the time its on if they keep to the same format dont really care what time its on the program is designed for people with an interest in poker if you want to watch it sky+ it or stay up if they put it on earlier i would lay good odds that the format of the program would change and you will be getting scenes of where its being played and inane interviews with the stars instead of serious poker coverage.
Prize structure etc, we are very likely flipping vs Holdens 3bet range.
Do we have to call off vs a percieved flip?
There's nothing wrong with doing so, but its not an auto call. I think he knew the kind of hand he was up against and just needed to decide whether or not to flip.
Bought in for a £100, its worth laddering and opting not to take the flip.
Its also worth calling and holding.
As always, just saying its not a clear cut auto call......
Maybe not an auto call but its definitely a call imo.
Holden is shoving every pocket pair in this spot and also a lot of Ax hands that you have dominated. on this occasion he was unlucky to be in a flip as he could easily have been a huge favourite.
The coverage suggested he was shoving on Shwartz a lot which again suggests his range is much wider than just hands we are flipping with.
thought Okell was excellent and was very unlucky.
Feldman used to play under the name Logno on this site and is to this day the only player i have seen playing 100/200 when he played heads up against what looked to be quite a big fish (obv guessing from railing). he lost a small fortune on the smaller (10/20) tables and then they took the action up to 100/200. think he stacked him in the end when he limped AA from the button and the other guy shoved K8 off (lol...the good old sky days).
