Sky now do 'Customer Service'
I know the Headline is a little negative, in that it suggests they didn't used to offer Customer Service, but I can honestly say they have improved beyond recognition. I called in to say that my Sky Poker Download kept crashing but my Internet was still up as I went to their website to get the number. He didn't bat me away with the usual, '' It's your ISP'', he said he would check if there had been any similar complaints. After a couple of minutes he came back and apologised for the delay before promptly stating that he had heard of a similar call a few minutes earlier and would raise it with the relevant team and have it looked at with the upmost urgency. I was pleased to have been treated so courteously, he then proceeded to offer me my tournament buy-in back as compensation for the aggravation it had caused. A couple of years ago I left Sky Poker, reluctantly, due to the rudeness of some customer service staff. I now have proof that I did the right thing in coming back, and also that Sky Poker are constantly trying to improve. Isn't it funny how a small amount of courtesy, and remuneration for a situation that cost you money but was beyond your control, can brighten your mood. Best wishes. Shaun the Villa fan in Bham.

Its a win win situation.
...........Nice touch shaun,...........many are quick to berate c/c when they fail to resolve a problem so it's nice to balance the scales when they do their job to your satisfaction.
