    Hi again Sky Santa. I have played Cash twice now to try and get a Grotto seat. I have had mixed results. first day I got against an aggro player and was far to passive and lost the £5 I put in. I then Played today and put in £8 and spun it up to £34 but had a few horror beats and ended up doing it back. I hope this will have helped my Cash 4 Points total. I will try to play again 3 more times and get a seat in my own right, but if you could see your way to giving me a seat then I will be able to save getting my backside tanned again in the Cash games. Lets hope this message is either balanced enough or gets me a lucky nod for the tourney. Best wishes. Shaun the Villa fan in Bham

    yeah why is it for cash game players? bit unfair for the mtt and the sng players when they spend just as much? Come on santa how bout involving everyone :)

    Ive just completed the qualification criteria to the grotto freeroll. I thought that skypoker would just enter us into it upon qualification but it appears that its gonna be a free for all on the 22nd at 4pm, they must be giving us the password or something then.

    Santa's Grotto Freeroll will take place on the 23rd December at 7.15pm. Registration will open from 4pm on the 22nd December when eligible customers will be notified by email and/or sms. Make sure your contact details are up to date! This tournament will be capped at 2000 and registration will be on a first-come first-served basis. You will be able to confirm your registration as soon as you receive notification. Good Luck!

    i was gonna post asking what nxt since ive met the criteria but read the details again.

    i also thought we would have been put in automtically, but them the breaks
    (note to self, set a reminder for 4pm on 22/12/12 on my phone)

    Well I've got 4 of my days out the way now... managed to lose between 20p and £1.50 each day by just doing the 1 orbit and having junk.

    Done my 5. After some of the beats I've taken on other games in the last 48 hours I opted for discretion on day 5 and just did the minimum, but I've got a £12 profit in qualifying so this fish is happy with that.

    I have made my 5 and even made a small profit on 4 out of 5 days.

    The idea that players have to register shortly before the tournament starts is something I have posted about many times. Although I personally think the registration should open 3 hours before the start rather than the day before.

    Hopefully this will minimise the number of players who register and then do not take part. Sit outs spoil the rhythm of the game and can give an unfair advantage to players on certain tables.

    So please only register if you intend to play.

    I would love to see this extended to tournaments like the league freeroll too.

      right day 2 for me playing cash   first day made around £27  ok for a cash muppet   today made £60  upset one player but not to worry   i do hope heads up cash counts can some clarify that it is ok   will update as days pass   thanks

    i got an email saying i need 1 more day to qualify when i know for certain ive already played 5 days, i done it after midnight each night from the start

    Same here, so they got 6 days out of me in the end... annoying cos I lost £3 on my 6th go at 20NL lol.

    Updates sent yesterday were based on play from the 8th Dec up to midnight on the 14th. Any raked hands after then will count, up until the 21st.

    Where were these updates sent to? I never got one and you have my email address in my account details, and i played every day from 8th to the 12th december a raked hand on the 10p/20p tables, and yes i did enter ''grotto'' into the redeem password section before start of the promotion where it said password accepted.

    hang on I'm confused. On the promo page it says people will get qualification notification emails at 4;00 on 22nd. But people appear to be getting them now. As I have not done my 5 days yet am I at a disadvantage or have I misunderstood.

    The email was sent to the hotmail address on your account. if you've ever unsubcribed form our emails you won't have received it.

    Same as me!! I havn't ''deleted email from this scource'' either, and i've played 6 days. I have a sneaky suspicion that we ain't gonna get invited into santas grotto this year lol, and if it is like that i ain't gonna play any more qualifying games because its going to be just a rip off to get more rake off us.
