Calling all Sky Poker TV lovers- here's your bumper Chrimbo line-up... with plenty of crackers, lots of festive cheer and heck, any other festive puns you wish to throw into the mix!
Kicking off the holiday season tomorrow night is the lovely Sarah Champion aided and abetted by the not-so-lovely Tikay and special guest Ryan Spittles aka Scotty 77.
Anyone who saw Ryan's last show with my good self will know we have on our hands an extremely intelligent and articulate thinker of the game who has the results to prove it and some very in-depth analysis to hand out on every play he sees.
Then this Saturday sees the equally lovely Anna Fowler and the equally not-so-lovely Trevor Harris take to the Mastercash tables, with Top of the Pots up first from 9pm.
And then on Sunday evening Sarah and Tikay are back with the Sunday Roller from 9.
Then it's our Christmas show! And what better way on Thursday 22nd December to get into the festive spirit then sharing a mince pie with Carlo Citrone and myself as we're joined by poker pro Nik Persaud.
Nik writes features for poker magazines and is widely used at poker bootcamps up and down the country as a keynote speaker. He is also the 2010 World Heads Up Champion and a great guest whenever he's on the show.
UKOPS week to follow..!

In the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve here on Sky Poker TV we’re going UKOPS crazy!
We have four, count ‘em, FOUR shows in a row- every night from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th covering our massive festive online festival.
And every night we’ll be LIVE from a new time of 7pm for FIVE HOURS!
I’ll be here for all of them...
Yeah, that's me. Attempting to look cool.
And joining me on each night will be a plethora of Sky Poker’s finest.
Tuesday 27th
…is UKOPS Side Event night as Carlo Citrone
...and I bring you five hours from the baize moments after it’s happened.
Wednesday 28th
…is the £10K Doublestack with myself, Trevor Harris
and a very popular face with our viewers and an old friend of Sky Poker Michelle Orpe!
Thursday 29th
… sees the £25,000 Bounty Hunter with Carlo and an old friend of his, Ian Woodley.
Not only an accomplished poker pro who came 2nd in the Irish Open but, trivia fans- the first ever winner of a million pounds on British TV courtesy of Chris Evans’ TFI Friday!
Friday 30th
…And last and by all means MOST, on the eve before new year’s Eve it’s the big one- the UKOPS Christmas Main Event with a gargantuan £50,000 guaranteed in the kitty and I’ll be joined by Father Christmas himself, Tikay...
and poker journalist and blogger Jen Mason.
So, what’s not to like? Expert analysis, lots of fun guests and 20 hours of full-on coverage of our collosal UKOPS series where the prize pools are galactic sized!
Sky Poker TV- this December.
As Del Boy will no doubt say in the traditional Only Fools Xmas Day repeat: "You know it makes sense, Rodders!"
...with gifts on the fire and logs on the tree.
No, it must be the other way round- gifts on the fire would be a bad thing....
Hope you're keeping well.
Yes, Ryan was rather blooming good actually- I was well impressed. Everyone forgets that it's often the first time these guys have even seen a TV studio let alone immediately sat down to tell the nation how to play the poker for four hours LIVE!
Not easy. So hats off to him. Terrible dress sense of course, but that goes with the terrority. Doesn't it, Greg..? ;-)
Thankyou for that compliment, Paige. Remind me, where did you want me to send that cheque to again? ;-)
Merrry Christmas to all you wonderful folk and a happy new year!
Talking about Boot Camps, could Sky run one in 2012, I missed out on the last one, tried several sattellites.
Could do with some coaching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that jacket wow
That must have been the coke days during Blue Peter...
I would like to find Sarah Champion. In fact I would like to find her in any stockings.
Is this wrong?
