From Ryan's fashion sense, I see he hasn't been granted access to Tikay's wardrobe yet? :P
Question for Tikay - Do you think the PLO and PLO8 tournaments in the Xmas UKOPS will make their guarantee? (I'll be entering the PLO8 one and probably throw most of my chips away drawing to half the pot or something, lol)
Big thank you to both Tikay and sarah for all the work done at Newcastle. Remember it's not all about one hand
Couple of interviews with Sarah, I may have been slightly cheeky, but I was still shaking. Thanks to Tikay for some kind (if inflated) words about my final table play. Was a privilege to be playing with the great man commentating in the background.
I love Newcastle. P.S. big up the blog - possibly the best one yet (well funniest).
In Response to Re: Thursday night live with Sarah, tikay and special guest Scotty77 *****official show thread***** : looool +1 Also if Scotty could play poker with Kris Akabusi and four other people who would he choose ? Would he get offput by Kris constantly shouting awooga in his ear? Posted by beaneh
I've often found Kris shouting awooga the be tilting but it depends if he is wearing his dungarees or not.
THAT burgundy jacket is being destroyed next week, if not I think all new experts have to wear it for their first show, or Tikay said whoever wins an SPT event has to wear it

soz to bother you, in own time can you reply to ( heart felt lost thread) on this page in your own time, there is a question directed for you on it.
My question for Ryan is does he also play PLO cash as well as NLH? I tried PLO cash for the first time on Tues and found it very easy to give the other players my money. Any tips to improve?

Everyone knows that John Fashanu was the man with the Awooga! I've always seen Kris Akabusi as an 'Alright!!!' man myself.
I think im pretty good at mtt's but not great at cash i think this is because i like a to intimidate players and im pretty good at using my stack against people by being very active inducing people into traps but in cash youve got to get used to playing the cards and ignoring stack sizes, tighten your range resulting in you playing less hands does Scotty and T.K agree with this?
hello all, Question's for Ryan, sincere I am - but in no way offensive ) Have a cracking show Is it true, to be a winning player online you have to have numbers on the end of your name Posted by rancid
Hi Tikay, Sarah.. tell Ryan I love him! Great show as always
Was just watching my good friend Hurst05 play an interesting hand, maybe it could be analysed, very intriguing way it played out.. would Love to know what both players in the hand had
In reference to the first cash hand you played tonight, I was totally confused by the line of the opponent by the river. But a wise man once told me to 'put the money in the middle and see what happens.' So I did.
I've started playing on Sky Poker 2 years ago and was consistently profitable at low stakes SnG's (mostly DYM), building a very modest bankroll over 18 months.
Last summer I started watching the TV channel and after listen to experts' advice and analysis I endeavoured to get better. I read, studied and practised, started playing cash games too, and have since more than doubled my bankroll.
However, there is one situation that I never seem to be able to deal with.
What do you do when playing a tournament and you find yourself completely card dead against aggressive opponents? Against these players, I like to sit quite tight and wait for the right spots to trap, but when I'm not getting ANY cards or can't hit a single flop, what strategy should I adopt?
Surely, if I wait too long for a hand I like, when I do come out firing I'm likely to scare my customers away.
You've tried some bluffs on me before Ryan but trying to get that comment that I'm a better player than you through is too extreme even for you.
Regarding the other hands, the dynamic between big stacks and small stacks is confusing everything and these will play a lot different from the standard tables. I love deep tables
hi tikay sarah and scotty been on sky 3 years profit 0 loss nil i play 4 hours a day tournys and small cash after 3 years am i playing good poker or should i be in profit

It should make 100bb on the 2p/4p tables!
Ryan- doing a stunning job!
I genuinely believe he is the best guest you've had on the show!
In many way's he reminds me of Tikay. Explaining things as they are. In a way anyyone can understand.
No holds barred highs or lows he answers all questions honestly and relates to all players whatever their level!
Very well done!
many thanks
martin

Hi Sarah, Tikay & Ryan
Am enjoying the show great analyzing by both Ryan & Tikay my question for Ryan is
If you weren't a Poker Player what would you be doing?
You've tried some bluffs on me before Ryan but trying to get that comment that I'm a better player than you through is too extreme even for you.
