heads up games for xmas

get 1 big heads up tourney going for a small buying its not about the money its about winning :) would be good fun aswell im sure alot of people would play this like a fa cup style so loads of players so like 256 winners of 1st match then wais for all the others to finish 5 min blinds so dont have to wait to long then gets reduced to 128 then 64 so on with 5 min blinds would be finished within 2 hours i think this a great idea more heads up tourneys please sky ;)

    Are you having a laugh lol...

    I've just organised a HU knockout tourney about 6 weeks ago and it finished a few days ago lol. Granted it wasn't all running at the same time but it's the same thing but without the hassle of trying to get everyone who wants to play online at the same time.

    lambert a site i play on theres a 128 player heads up every day with 10 min blinds starts at 2pm is finished by 5 pm so it can be done

    Oh yeah, I don't doubt it can be done, and I know they exist on other sites but on this particular site, there are no where near as many players as on some of the bigger sites and I don't think you're gonna get this running every single day if thats the way it happens. What dya do at 2pm when there's only 127 players registered?

    It would make more sense as a SnG cos it can't go at a set time if the people aren't there but then there's gonna be an enormous gap between player number 1 registering and kick off, so unless you're on the site for hours and hours then how's it work?

    how many people play the main event on sky everynite over 300 if ya get a heads up tourney around 8pm im sure ya will get loads of people playing at peak time not saying it would happen but it could happen alot of players like playing heads up me included just think its an idea thats all they dont do enough heads up tourneys when im playing and theres alot of people will get a buy through the 1st round which is good

    its been done before a few year ago, it ran at 9;30 and cost 2 or 3 quid. this was when all the main events were £10 to enter and were starting at 9 n have over 600 runners. im sure the biggest field i sen in it was 15 n it wasnt run like a certain other site where its done in rounds
