Hi Guys & Gals ,


I really enjoyed playing on sky poker with you , it has been great fun .

When it comes to poker sites , sky poker is quiet something   else .

The banter , the forum comps & comradely are  very special indeed .


But alas I find my kids ( 10 & 9 year old boys & 4 year old girl ) are losing out

on time , precise family time ,

time that I and raver spend playing in on-line poker .

I have put great thought in the last month or so in to my decision & decided to go

cold turkey & have self excluded for 5 years .

Raver has  decided ( no pressure from me ) to do the same .

So my decision is purely a family time one ,

the poker gods have been kind to me on sky .

If you sharkscope me you will see this is true lol.

Tony Tk Kendal is a living legend & has a real tough job here on sky .

Many a time I & Tony have disagreed on things ,

but he is the backbone of sky poker and should be treated as such .

I must have helped over a 100 peeps on here with their poker game ,

but as of today unfortunately it ends .

But I leave you guys / gals with my final bit of advice .

That is make sharkscope your friend .

So I sign off for 5 years with a $10k profit , from my 2nd deposit of £50.

I wish you all a happy xmas & good health over the coming years .

    Thank you Denis in particular for all your hard work on the forum and for lending an ear of support oer the past few years.

    That sharkscope is just sensational, and i don't think many hae or will beat it at those stakes!

    Hopefully you can read this even if you can't respond.

    When I first joined this site in January your blogs were the first ones I read on here and they helped me alot.

    This must have been a tough decision for you to make but is a sensible one if you felt you're losing out on spending time with your kids.

    Enjoy watching them grow up over the next five years.

    I'd just like to thank you for all of your help in the past and for setting some great challenge threads going.  I'm sure when the kids have grown up and the 5 years have passed, you will come back chomping at the bit, sort of speak.

    you are one of the guys who has made skypoker and this forum what they are today with all your hard work.

    all the best to you and yours for the future looking at your kids ages you will need to be back on the dym grind in 5 year to pay for the teenage needs

    You will be missed, but fully respect your decision as children grow up so fast, as I had to make a decision few years ago about how much I played on here, and that was mainly due to family commitments.  Enjoy each passing day with your family, and best wishes to you all :) x

    Denis. Great read, great fold.

    You've been one of the stars on the tables and on the forum over the time I've been playing, and a great help to me starting out in the game.

    I'm sure you have put much thought into your decision and everyone should respect it. You will always be a member of Team51, whether you play or not, and you know you are both welcome on the FB site anytime you choose.

    Pop in from time to time and let us know how you are getting on please.

    I remember joining this site in January, and asking a question, i got a PM from you directing me to a very helpful poker site.

    Also the hardwork and commitment you have put into the community is outstanding, and the team 51 facebook page.

    I also remembering the time you sold roller action on here, and took it down the same night without question.

    Good luck to you both and totally the right decision. Once they have grown up you can't turn back the clock so fully understand but I would like to say that it has been a pleasure sharing tables with you both and your contribution to the forums Denis has been huge and I thank you for that
