I'm considering writing a vaguely poker related blog in 2012 which I'm sure you will be on tenterhooks waiting to read.......

How does one go about starting a blog on the site?  Is it literally just start a thread in the forum or is there a specific section somewhere that I seem incapable of finding?

All the Blogs in the Blog section of the site usually have to be approved and uploaded by the suites. It may be worthwhile submitting it to one of the sky peeps such as Sky Jordan who may take a look at it or pass it on to the right department.

Failing that you can just start your own thread, but then thats not really a blog imo.

Also John Conner may be able to advice you who to contact as he has already done one.

They used to invite a couple of people a month to write blogs and set up a link which was emailed to us.

When I was invited I wrote several and then later when I wanted to send back news from Vegas I found my old link still worked. As it did recently when I cheekily thought I would post another.

It was a guy called Richard Kemp at Sky who set it up but I dont knowe if he or anyone else is doing it now.

I may be wrong but I think John Connor forwarded his blog to Tikay who published it for him.

Good luck with it anyway. Always good to read different ideas and points of view.
