Slowly beating the rake..
It's that time of year when we make 'resolutions' that we might be able to manage for a couple of weeks but we know we could never keep up. In 2012 I hope to add a zero to my bankroll. That equates to winning about £4000. I plan to do this by starting at £1.15 DYMs and moving up when I have 22 buy-ins for the next level. I've played 120 £1.15 DYMs in December. That went something like this:

Not great. 120 DYMs and a poultry £4 profit. I take solace in the fact that if the rake had been at the standard 10% I would have a 7.6% ROI instead of my 2.9%, although, that's still not great. I'll be updating this thread as and when I feel is appropriate, or alternatively when I have a bad beat to share. I plan to get about 250 games in next month so hopefully in 31 dyas I'll be chirping about my £11.25 profit. Can't wait.

Dude,s right Wilhelm
playing only 120 a month could take you a while
before you see any big changes
(as a matter of interest,i play about 120 games
in 3 nights on 6 tables @ £3.3o level,and will
probably take a month or so ,i think ,before making enough
to move up a level....hopefully!)
think it all depends on what YOU want
anyway,like you say u r up £4
not everyone can say that.
good luck buddy
looking forward to the next up-date
