I need some help closing out tournaments, any advice?

    Hi guys,

    Recently started playing again after a long overdue gap from the virtual tables and im having some issues closing out tournements, any suggestions?

    This month i have played 19 8pm start tourny's, out of the 19 i have final tabled 2 and won 1. Also came 9th in the £220 yesterday and then 4th tonight in Bounty Hunter. All in all its been a fairly decent month for cash's but whats really annoying me is that due to the prize pool being steep im not making the most out of my opertunities to rake in the cash :-p

    Does has anyone else had similer problems in the past holes in their game ect that they can share and give me some ideas?

    Some of you regular guys must have seen me playing and seen some of my showdown hands and im fairly sure that ive knocked a few of the regular posters out in a couple of the last tournys and visa versa, so someone out ther must have seen my mistakes and be able to help.

    That record is pretty much what you are aiming for! I cant remember my last final table in an 8pm ME it was so long ago.

    If that record is "really annoying you" Try min cashing, bubbling and finishing 11th- 20th alot then you will appreciate your excellent results! Maybe your just bragging, but w/e

    No really, It's very frustrating when you get that deep and then can close out the tourney. ou know what tis like 2k for 1st £350 for 5th ect. Masswive difference in payout. And i can't seem to make the most of the oppertunities and positions i get myself into.

    Maybe just look at your shoving range v possible calling ranges, you may be shoving too light -

    Pretty much all plays on the final table are flips or pp vs pp and this leaves little or no room to play poker.

    Im sure ure time will come and you will take down another biggie or two b4 long , ure consistency in final tabling is very impressive indeed.

    unfortunately u must win flipz and its hard for anyone to suggest advice here, jus play ur normal game and maybe crank up the agression.
