ROYAL FLUSH - HOW OFTEN??

i know its a "how long is a bit of string question"

but after 5 years of playing poker, live and online i am yet to have a royal flush.  just wandering if anyone has gone longer without one!! i have played 2/3 live tourneys and atleast 10hrs per week of online evry week for the past 5 years

    haha thats pretty sick !  ive only been playing about 2 years and have probably seen about 25,  probs had about 7 myself, must be nice !  safe to say i'm not due one anytime soon.

    i have never seen one, not even on the poker machines lol! best ive seen is a straight flush ive had a few of them.

    The last one I had was on christmas day, before that nothing for ages. Had quite a few str8 flushes though, which are nearly as nice imo.

    Never had a Royal here. Only a couple of str8 flushes (most of which i folded pre-flop)

    One Royal my first and only one the same day LML got her 1st   sort of took the shine off mine. Then to add insult to injury I couldn't find it in hand History. sob sob   Had plenty Hot Flushes since.  Hmmm blushhhh

    Only one on here (in omaha, so does'nt really count?) in two years.

    Two on another site I play on in less than 12 months.

    closest i did come though was having the ace of diamonds in my hand which i folded in a multi way pot...

    flop 10 j q.. all diamond turn 9 river king.. straight flush on board.. checked around to river where a guy takes a crazy bid to take it by shoving.. noone believed him and got 4 callers.. if only.... 

    ps it was final table of live game so blinds were big and just cos of family pot was a big pot pre..

    if i remember correclty i had the 8 of diamonds aswell

    I think I've hit three in my online games and one live. The live one was a £10 sit and go with some friends. I won 150 tournament chips.

    I've had 2 in the just over 2 years of playing.
    I've seen a few aswell including one on the board and people still bet to try and force off!!

    I've had 2 in 2 and a 1/2 years on sky. I play 6 nights per week mainly MTT's and some cash at weekends.

    Last one was just before Christmas, but unfortunately I never got paid too well for it (250 chips) if I recall.

    Never had one in a cash game yet.

    Give me a set any day of the week instead, its much easier to get paid off.

    I have had one Royal Flush and also like walesboy seen one on the board,so bigflop it's only a matter of time until you hit your first one.

    Back in the day when I was grinding 1c/2c games on stars I had Qd9d on the big blind, button limpped so I check. I flopped the nut flush with a AKT flop. Check call the flop, bet and get called on the turn and the river is Jd meaning that I have no way to get any value what so ever. I decided to bet 8c into a 60c pot and obviously he folds since the second nuts here would be the 8-high flush.

    Royal flushes are overrated. I think the only guy who ever got paid off for a royal flush is Justin Phillips (JFGI)

    Just had a nice one in a Hi-Lo Omaha tourney (hand 460852435), but didn't have one, if you see what I mean

    Holdiing Ace, Queen and Jack of Hearts, the board included the King, Ten and Nine

    So I had all six top hearts, yet my hand was "Only" a Straight-Flush to the King!

    never had one, but suppose a bit like Holes in One in Golf they are pretty scarce !  except Royal Flush you win all the chips and hole in one costs you a round of drinks !  I have had 4 Holes in one !

    had quiet a few and two in the last two months, One where my royal beat sam1986s quad Aces, Im sure he wont mind me mentioning as it is very rear occurrence and one that would have won a massive bad beat prize on lots of sites.
