Pop Ups while trying to write a thread

Ruddy annoying when you,ve spent a while and it won,t go away so you lose your peice and have to start again

I,m on about the pop ups for tournaments starting

Is it just my computer or does it affect everyone and can it be sorted?

lol, just been writing one in the clinic. get right to the end and just about ready to copy and paste hand and "bang" up it comes. you can hit that "done" button as many times as you like and nothin!. plz sort this out sky as it just aint cricket!

You should be able to click/tick a box that stops all the reminders that come across the top screen...As long as you are willing to sign something that says its not skys fault if you miss a tournament! and then everyone has their bases /ars-es covered.Look forward to next update.....

Yeah this happens to me all the time, and it drives me nuts, especially cos I tend to ramble and write long replys. It's just that little bit more annoying than when you type a long reply and then when you click 'add post', it realises you've been timed out from your login, kicks you out and you lose your whole message.

Why cant we just not have pop ups!

If need be, have a bigger runner across the page saying MAIN EVENT 8PM or whatever, but no popups

I've made the Sky poker peeps aware of this thread so hopefully the problem will be looked into for you Paul

I used to get this using Firefox but since switching to Chrome it allows me to click the box.

I don,t have word rancid . i,ve got notepad although as lambert  said sometimes you end up writing a post and if you go on a bit longer than you thought or keep coming back to it because you are playing it can be annoying

I do this now for lengthy posts.

I got fed up of being logged out as I clicked submit and having to re-write it all again.

Wouldn't a much better idea be for Sky to just stop hounding us with popups tho eh.

Ok maybe every now and then the odd person will forget to register for the ME, but they'll soon learn (as I did when I kept forgetting to register for the DTD) and even if they do, 99% of players aren't gonna be heartbroken. Ok sky want the rake but just stick a banner on the website, not a popup.

I dont bother writing long thought out posts anymore because of that!!!!!

Mind you some may consider this a good thing ;o/
