I am forever "yidette9" and will be forever intrigued by YOU! ...... until you tell me why you chose your sky alias.

What does your sky alias mean to you?

Some may seem obvious like your first or last name but what do the numbers you have added to your name mean to you?

Before I tell you how "yidette9" was conceived in my very simple mind, here are my questions ....

1) Have I ever played poker with you and you've assumed I must be a girl from North London who supports Spurs?

2) Then you look under my alias name and read that I am from Wigan?

Puzzled? 

Here is why ........

Many moons ago at the tender age of 13, I watched my 1st ever football match at home on TV with my dad and my little sister. It was the FA Cup Final Spurs v Man City in 1981 (+replay!) Omg .. you now know my age!!!

I have always supported Spurs since that match and have travelled to the hallowed turf of White Hart Lane on many occassions to watch my team both in League and European games not to mention many "away" fixtures here in the North West of England

So you now know why I am "yidette" as in "Super Tottenham from the Lane"

Why number 9?

My twin sons Ryan and Elliot were born on the 9th day of the 9th month in 1995 ....

so there you have my story and I'm so interested to hear yours too ...

    When I was about 8, and we had AOL with a 56k modem (the ones where you couldn't use the phone when you were on the internet), I tried to sign up to Neopets as "Evilpenguin", was already taken, tried changing letters and eventually ended up with "Evilpengwinz", which is my alias on most sites, except on here because of the character limit, so I changed to "Evilpingu".

    Mine is quite simple.....Made up from 3 things.

    MAX....my sons name.

    AL.....my name.

    ALLY.....short for aluminuim, as I work in that trade.

    I always thought the 9 in your alias stood for the highest card you would shove all your chips into the middle with Lorraine x

    My alias is my online moniker from my online gaming days way back when I was younger and had so much free time on my hands - FPS games like COD/MOHAA/COUNTER STRIKE !
    My story is a bit like Elky's, but without the bling, money and worldwide poker success )

    And the names just stuck cause I am horrible!

    I just thought of something that would sound daft if read out on 865, so went for the name of the creepy character from 80s kids TV show 'Jigsaw'.

    My ones very simple, obviously my aim when I started playing poker was to succeed and make a profit, thought it would be slightly amusing to have the opposite as my alias.

    I love watching race horses!

    Often on Tuesdays and Fridays between March and October, I set off at some ungodly hour in the morning from Southampton to Arundel to watch John Dunlops horses gallop.

    The team at Arundel are second to none and the character of all the horses phenomenal!

    It's my guilty pleasure but when I gamble on the horses It's mainly through sentiment rather than knowledge and consequently I have never exploited my friendship and lose more often than I win.

    I chose my alias from the first three letters of an incredible trainers name and the last seven relate to my betting prowess!

    On a serious note if anyone is looking to invest their poker winnings from Ukops you can do far worse than visit Castle Stables!

    MY ALIAS CAME FROM A POOL MATCH WHERE I WAS FULL BALL SNOOKERED ON THE BLACK WITH THE GAME AT 4-4 AND THE BEST OF 9, THE PLAYER ONLY HAD ONE BALL LEFT WHICH HE SNOOKERED ME BEHIND, NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS WAS A TOP 2 CLASH AND I NEEDED TO HIT THE BLACK SO OFF 3 CUSHIONS I HIT THE BLACK AND AS A BONUS POTTED IT AS WELL.

    WELL WHEN THE BLACK DROPPED ONE OFF THE OPPO SHOUTED YOU SPAWNY xxxx AND ONE OFF MY OWN PLAYERS SHOUTED BACK BOLLxxxx SO I WAS GIVEN THE THE NAME SPAWNY BOLLxxxx AND IT`S STUCK SINCE.

    AND THE REASON I SPELT SPAWNY AS SPORNY IS BECAUSE I LIKE TO BE DIFFERANT, IT`S JUST A SHAME I CAN`T PUT LOCKS ON THE END OFF BOL ??

    AND I`M ALSO THE SAME AS YOU YIDETTE WITH THE FOOTBALL, THE FIRST GAME I SAW WHEN THEY SHOWED ON BBC ON A FRIDAY NITE WAS LIVERPOOL V NEWCASTLE, SO KNOWING MY DAD WAS NEWCASTLE I WATCHED IT.

    WELL THE FINAL SCORE WAS 4-0 TO LIVERPOOL AND SINCE THEN HAVE SUPPORTED LIVERPOOL ( 31YRS NOW )

    I was completely stuck when it came to choosing an alias.

    Anyway, it was about 4 years ago when i was at uni. My girlfriends name is Tasha and one of our friends always calls her splashies. In fact, I think she even bought a fish and named it splashies. Sadly, the fish is no longer with us. (well actually, I am still here).

    When i first started playing on here i was 18-20 somewhere there cant think, at the time i had only just started playing so very random and thought Gun went well with it. younggun was taken so put an underscore in it.

    Mine is the most boring reason ever. When I chose my screen name I mistakenly thought I was choosing my logging in name. By the time I realised my error it was too late and I was stuck with it.

    Most people assume the QQQ refers to a poker hand, that wasn't my intention, the initial letter of my surname is Q and it comes from that.

    AcidMan comes from my love of acid house/acid techno. I used to DJ and a few people nicknamed me Acid Man Dan and it stuck.

    I then started playing a few online computer games and always used the alias of AcidMan.

    When ever I sign upto a site now and that alias is taken, I then use 27 after it as it's my lucky number. I used to race BMX bikes and used the number 27 when ever I was able to and it's stuck with me ever since.

    I took my name from the film House of Flying Daggers. The film is by a Chinese director Zhang Yimou (he was responsible for the opening ceremony at the Beijing Olympics) and forms part of a trilogy, the others being Hero and Curse of The Golden Flower and are my favourite films. My favourite is Hero but I couldn't really call myself that so settled for the other name. It should have been FlyingDagger as on other sites but there wasnt enough room on Sky.I meant to change it but pressed the wrong button so I'm stuck with it now.

    BTW Sporny like how you got your monicker. I always thought it was something to do with spag bol.

    I run the confectionery department at work; I wanted it to be sweetielady but  alas too many characters. I didn't think it would make too much difference, but it might have stopped people calling me sweaty!

    It's always quiet just after christmas Gregg, people dieting might be the reason but I think everyone is sick of the sight of chocolate this time of year tbh.
    Soon picks up though it's not long til Valentines day, Mother's day and Easter lol.
