why does this villian still call my raise

everyone has folded so i make an attempt to steal his blind but for some reason he makes a call with the strangest of hands 92o.
why would he even risk calling with that hand. and what should my raise size be for any future blind stealing

Some people just will NOT give up their BB. I can see arguements for and against it, like if you're raising with ATC on the SB just to steal his blind, then he can take pots off you purely by being in position.

I don't know the oppo so he might just be the kinda guy who thinks, hey if I put 200 in I'm definitely gonna see a flop and I might hit. Lesson learnt here is to be not expect folds too often from this guy next time you steal BvB so expect to play a pot with him (that doesn't have to be a bad thing).

The guy has a 3-1 chip advantage and position. He has obv been running well cos his stack is massive so he probs thinking yeah another 200 why not.......had he been defending his blind a lot? cos if so, given the stack sizes i'm just folding my 85 tbh....no shame in folding ur sb

but i ask you this, do you really think your hand is good on the river to be calling the raise?

you cant do much about how others play but you are in control of your own play. you done 1/3 of your stack here when you really didnt have to

If you're always going to be playing fit or fold on the flop, I'd be calling you with 92o as well. Why on Earth are we checking this flop? If we don't c-bet a 922 flop, which flops do we c-bet? If you don't intend to c-bet the flop, you should not be raising pre-flop. 

What were the motives behind the bet sizes on the turn and river? 1/4 pot on the turn and 1/6 pot on the river?

i do accept myself that the river call was awful but as he could have anything and with just doing the min bets ii thought myself he could have been trying to bluff a flush and has really just missed his high card.
it's mainly info about blind stealing i'm asking about.
i will even say myself that i am a idiot because earlier i folded a set of A on the river just because a villian did a big bet on a board A10987

prefer a 2.5x when raising blind on blind as were oop and people like to defend bvb

Personally I think you've both played this less than optimally. The best thing you could have done pre is to fold, as if you get called he's palying the hand in position anyway, and if you hit you don't really know where you are 95% of the time. Why not just let this go and play the next hand in position
