is this fold too tight? what should i have done?

I will leave players name in, he doesnt mind, it's from the orfordable. He is a solid player but will make the occassional move.......the check raise on flop after he raised pre on such a wet board just screamed of strength to me, so after some thought I folded......not sure if it was the correct thing to do....what should i have done?

Yeah I just fold here too. If you call there you are playing for stacks and I don't like getting in like 80xBB in that spot at all.

You did right in my oppinion. Better to make a tight fold here even if it's slightly-ev, than to continue and still be unsure of your hand on later streets. Even if the guys got 3H3x, the bottom of his range here, you're a statistical underdog
