    Sky Poker - The Musical

    As The Color of Money followed The Hustler after a 26 year break so Sky Poker The Musical is the sequel to The Cincinnati Kid (TCK)

    Transplanted to the USA during a Viva Las Vegas Promotion, The Ry Ry Kid who between smashing up online watches The Cicinnati Kid on perma loop heads to Vegas accompanied by the Sky Gang to take down the main event

    No Online Play In
    America
    Chips in your Hand In 
    America

    Unfortunately on arrival Ry Ry discovers that all the packs being used are identical to that used in the movie and this triggers our hero's Jack of Diamonds phobia, can he over come it and take it down!

    Comic relief is obviously provide by Carlo who along with Tikay has become confused between Jack of Diamonds of TCK and the Queen of Hearts motif of the The Manchurian Candidate. With Sam Razavi representing a typecast Leprechaun who grants poker wishes (hey he dressed up like one no one made him) Hilarity enusues!

    Additional castings Richard Orford as Rich Awfull as a brit who is followed around by Las Vegas Poker Shark Community deseperate for a bite of the man who says, "but i had a Queen, thats good right?"

    And of course Poker Final commentary provided by James Hartigan the man who suffers from Tourette Bondism, so whenever someone asks him his name he has to say, "Hartigan, James Hartigan, DER DER, DERRRR, DER DER, DERRRR, DE DE DER DEr DERR!!!"

    Ok so the “Sky Poker, the musical” or SKYP! (which will be available via web-cam) has to be a re-working of the American Broadway Classic, Guys and Dolls, the ultimate gambling musical.

     

    In the original the leading man is ‘Sky’ Masterson or in our re-make “Sky Mastercash” played by Richard Orford who opens the show with “Luck be be a lady tonight” because that’s what he needs to win anything at the tables

     

    He plays poker like the Donkey from Shrek until his Fairy Godfather (played by Tikay) arrives to grant his every wish. Sky sings

     

    ‘I dreamed a dream in time gone by

    That I could play like Ryan Spittles”

     

    Fairy TK thinks this sounds like an ‘Impossible Dream’  but summons up ‘A Kind of Magic’.

     

     ‘Wicked’ says Sky as he is transformed into poker guru …… Jen Mason!  Now I can ‘Play the Game’ and ‘I feel pretty’

     

    Entering the highly air-conditioned casino he loses confidence, and starts to weep. ‘I’m cold’ he bleats.  TK stops him “Put on your Jersey Boy”,  Big Girls Don’t Cry”.  Sky sits at the table and is dealt Jackson 5.  He shoves pre flop in a moment of madness.

     

    The villain calls.  Sky stands up with a ‘Stomp’  feeling very ‘Les Miserables’ Surely it was time for TK to ‘Bring him Home’

     

    ‘Oiiii’ says TK pushing Sky/Jen roughly back into his/her seat.

     

    “Sit- Down you’re floppin’ a boat!!” 

     

    Flopp comes JJ5.

     

    Mamma Mia !! cries Sky Mastercash.  “The winner takes it all!!”

    great show again guys my girlfriend finds me weird that i sit watching sky poker most of the night on tues, thurs and sundays but cant get enough lol

    i got a question for jen if she can answer. alot of pros go on about the importance of continue learning and improving to cut out leaks.
    well id love to hear from jen what her routine of continue learning is (on forums, reading back hand history, reading books, tutorials) and how many hours a week she puts into studying the game?

    I'm 32nd out of 40 in a £2k BH and I have 8 BB left in early position. i have QKs and decide to push to get called by someone with 55 and 77, did I make the right move? Thanks.
