Personally I'm putting down my pocket 8's to an all in shove, there is no real value in calling (2/1 pot odds and I'm far from being pot commited), against a variety of hands that are beating me.. trip 4's, pair 10's, and by the turn the flush...basically I'm gonna wait till I'm in a better spot...you were unlucky on this occasion and the villian got lucky on the river...

I think you played it fine altho I'd prob flat ott turn to balance our range cos we're pretty much only shipping flushes etc and our hand just looks so much like a flush, we're just lucky villain made a bad call, and also if we call we'll have a pot size bet left otr so it's still ok for us to get the money in. You got your money in big fave. All you can do.

fwiw, and this isn't just to you it's for everyone, when posting hands please make the effort to take away showdown so we don't know what villain had, it allows for better analysis and stops people being results orientated.
