If you are sure he has nothing? then why bet?
I'd argue u weren't sure he had nothing, and thats why you decided to bet!
Trying to get inside ur head, if u r sure he has nothing, then the only way u can get more is to check!

oops realised it was check to you. In that case, nothing u can do, overbet massively and make it look like a bluff? but he hasnt got the stack to make speculative calls, so u did fine.

If you are sure he has nothing, I'd just call the 100 on the turn and hope he sees that as weakness from you and he bets again on the river, then you can raise him.
By raising, unless he hits he's check-folding 90% of the time.
