I have set myself a small challenge. I intend to play 10 different low stake STT over the next three evenings. The total stake on my part will be £4.75 and I will see how much profit I can make with the challenge. I will not be playing them in any particular order.
The ten games I will be playing are as follow.
25p + 05p sit 'n go -0.30p
30p DYM +0.20p
30p twelve player scary -0.30p
30p top six +0.26p
30p 4 player H/U -0.30p
35p 30 player B/H +£1.31p in Bounties and £1.80p Prize money.
55p speed +£1.70
60p DYM +0.40p
60p 10 player B/H +£1.55 in Bounties + £1.25 Prize money.
I have made a good start to the challenge with a win in the 35p B/H. I started playing this before I put up the thread, which I put on while I was playing. I managed to finish in 1st place with £1.31 in bounties and £1.80 in prize money. I gave out four bad beats to the other players on the final table to win it. The poker gods were watching me with this one I think.
4th and last game this evening. A 60p DYM game which I won. More profit into the kitty. I will start again about 6.30 tomorrow evening with another 3 or 4 games.
Thank scrumdown. 2nd game tonight, a 30p top six. Wow, what a shove fest this tournament is, blinds every 3 minutes so any A and in they all went by most players. I did manage to finish 4th for 56p, so a slight profit.
30p 4 player H/U. Made the final table very easily then my K K got called by 10 4 o/s who managed to hit 2 pair. What can you do when that happens. Keep smiling, I suppose.
Last game, 25p + 05p. I was under the impression that this was going to be a slow game with 10 minutes blinds. Not a chance, players putting in big raises and all-ins all over the place. My trip 4's got called by a flush draw on the turn after a pot+ sized bet at hit and I came 4th.
The thing I have learnt from this challenge is that my overall game is in pretty good shape. I have just got to avoid the 30p games where the bingo players seem to inhabit. 3 of the 4 games I didn't cash in were 30p games.
My final total was a healthy profit of £5.47 which is a good return on my part.
great stuff apollo well done--hope to see you in the deepies soon--only 2.20--maybe a good idea to use these games to fund some deepies---gl m8--floppa whoppa!
