What is it with these Russian Team Owners ?
You hav ther likes of Abramovitch at Chelsea,and now the young guy that bought a controlling interest in Reading has done the worst possible thing-sacked Brian McDermott.
Brian was previusly a great scout ,and was doing very well on a small budget(got us into the Prem),the take over not being completed till August,with hardly any time to sort transfers.
It appears there was not much cash around in January,forcing Brian to go to lower leagues etc.
No idea who we'll get as replacement(there was a rumour a year ago about Van Gaal(????).

True Don,now I'm hearing Paolo Di Canio or Nigel Adkins.
Hate the way Brian was treated,but I'd accept either of these two.
