Hand 1 - Firstly open limping is terrible, either fold the hand or raise it (I personally I raise to 16-20p here). After that you played it perfect. Raise the flop when you're very likely to have the best hand on a very wet board so there will be TONS of hands happy to come along. Then ship the turn is your only option, you just got unlucky.

Hand 2 - Perfect example of why you shouldn't limp the first hand... you limp with KJo but raise 4x with AA. It won't be long before people realise that you limping means a marginal hand, and you raising means a strong one.

Raise size fine though. Flop bet size is a bit big, once he raises I think it's fine to just get it in like you did given how little he has behind. Again you got unlucky.

So one or two small mistakes but on the whole it was just a case of getting unlucky in these 2 hands.

Don't limp in to find out where you are, it achieves the opposite! You are now out of position against someone who could be holding literally any two cards. Don't be fooled by your hand looking pretty, if you're not confident playing out of position just bin it - it costs you the SB but you were just as likely to be dealt 8 2 here, as it is it can cost you far more when you think you're ahead but have no way of assigning ranges to your oppo. Here, your two pair is very likely good on the flop, but that's almost beside the point.
