Hiya,

Just about to wing my way to Sky towers, with me rollers in, to meet up with the gorgeous Jen Mason.  We will be bringing you ladies night tonight from 7pm, you know....... lots of talk about boys..nails...hair cuts...lipstick...hormones...kittens..

Only joking!  We will be bringing you our own version of a ladies night.  POKER POKER and more POKER..

I am after a SPT LONDON limerick/poem.  What have we got to look forward to?  What are you hoping to see, who are you looking forward to meeting? Who do fancy beating?
And if we don't many contributions then we will resort to talking about all that I mentioned earlier; kittens and stuff.

    i won a satalite for £2.35
    now i have a chance to play again live
    the spt in london is where im gonna be
    hoping that the poker gods are smiling down on me.

    looking forward to putting faces to names and meeting everyone from sky poker.
    cant wait until saturday and even if im out 1st hand im staying the whole weekend.

    also it will be good to see how the big names do playing live.

    its gonna be greaaaaaaaaaaaat (as tony the tiger would say)

    I think the kitten convo sounds better than any limerick attempt i can give.

    It's SPT London, there's room for a joker

    If you could see the cards of the player sat next to you everytime they looked at them.........Would you...
    A - Tell them you could see their cards?
    or
    B - Just keep peeking at them and say nothing?

    My play at the tournament sucked,
    All the good looking hands just got mucked.
    As a matter of fact,
    Quite soon i was stacked
    And now i am totally... playing in the side event.

    Hi Anna and Jen. 

    I was pretty readless at this point on the villian in my hand. My call on the flop was because the board was very dry and i felt safe playing through the streets. With the 7 on the turn i felt like i had to start to build the pot for when im ahead and to protect from any weird draws picked up on the turn. I was playing alot of tables at that point including a HU tournament elsewhere meaning i was probably missing alot of information. but i know the rest of the table would see me as extremely aggro, given i was playing a HU MTT i was probably playing even more aggro than normal.

     Would you pelase have a look at hand 634214999.
    It was the final table of last night's main event and the villain had been relentless in his aggression towards me and I thought I had him. Perhaps I should have held on and looked to ladder, but the jumps in cash from 6th to 3rd weren't great and a double up would have guaranteed top 3 and a shot at the win. What do you think.

    it is from the early stages of todays mini 634440190
    during the early stages with tables being more loose it is harder to read what a villian will hold.
    do i put too much of a risk to my chips betting aggressive.

    greetings lovely ladies, great to have ladies night again. the guy's are ok but they're just not the same!!!!!!!!!

    I have a poem for you

    to spt London i'd really love to go,
    but my bankroll's run out so it's a no no.
    I went for the sats, I really tried my best,
    but i'm just not as good as all of the rest.
    I raised and I called, I even tried to bluff,
    but sadly my game's just not good enough.
    so i'll sit at home and watch the live feed,
    and watch the winner do the good deed.

    Unfortunately, I won't be at the SPT this weekend.  Damn birthday weekends :(

    thanks sky for the SPT seat for £2.40 tonight me and mrs boot were on the way to the SPT anyway. mrs boot is more exited about the shopping in westfield than the SPT. i feel an expensive weekend SIGH

    This caused him to pout
    N' then he stormed out
    And left all his chips there for me

    I am right about that, aren't I? The limerick competition prize is a free SPT seat, yes?
