Great weekend once again
What another great weekend at stratford,got there saturday about 12 0 clock had a few beers met a couple of regulars from where i play at g casino luton(vinny and gav),then a few more beers with the one and only monkey123 then the rest of the hitsquad turn up and what a great bunch they are,hitman_rv got me a beer and that was it i was then a member of the hitsquad lol.
On to the tourny day 1 i dont believe ive ever had so many cards,kk 3 times,QQ 3 times,quad 6s which really got me going and by the end of day 1 sitting on a nice 120k back to the bar with the hitman and the other 15!had a great chat with the one and only goldenb238 very nice bloke.Then as we were starting day two earlier i thought id better get back for some kip so off i went.
Get back to the casino at 11.30am on sunday for day2 which i must say what a casino very nice,had a couple of beers to sort me out! then people arrive for the start time of 12 0 clock,So off we go again.Had a couple of bigger stacks on my table but felt ok with this and just thought sit and wait as there was 80 got through with 36 paid.But in the 1st level back im in the bb and look down at kk ive a guy next to me first to act and raises then on the button was david666 who has same stack as me and calls i bump it up then guy to me left jams and david666 gets it in to,so im thinking i dont want to call this,after a good 5mins decide that david666 is at it and jkust wanted me out so he can just take on the shortie,so i make the call OH DEAR!! guy to me left QQ david666 AA,im in allsorts of trouble, FLOP Q74 TURN K WIIIIIIIIIIIIIII RIVER BLANK,i couldnt tell you the river as i wasnt watching!
So i take two out and sitting with healthy stack,few hours later i then see ak and have a raise before me and it all goes in i have him covered he shows kk im in trouble,kk holds im down to 100k,then with 37 left im getting very low and get jj and get it in and called by ak,i hold so back up to over 200k,then bubble bursts so im happy,i believe i folded away for another 2 hours so card dead at the wrong time and my chips are getting eaten up,down to 12 people left on the button with 3s shove and LB has ak an ace on the flop and that was it all over for me.
As i got in for £4.80 last monday night im very happy with my £855 cash but more to the point im happy with my game at the moment and yea i know i got lucky with the kk but hey we need it sometimes.

What a coup that KK hand was, QQ v KK v AA!
The chap with QQ was "DrMarbles", terrrific bloke. Took him 2 hours to get home on the Night Bus on Saturday, & an hour to get back on Sunday, he arrived just as the hand was dealt & busted & had to go back home.
really enjoyed it was hoping to final but went card dead at the wrong time i believe i folded away for 2 hours,just couldnt get it in.
great place well done to you guys again,i got close to cash in blackpool and even closer in luton which is me local,so im really pleased to have cashed at london,i got in for £4.80!
