Given our stack i think its just a fold pre. we arent deep enough to set mine (look for a third 2).

On the flop we're multiway i know JJ4 looks good for us, and i think we can get it in, although i think in this spot we're going to be behind alot. Therefore i think check folding is best.

I agree with the don 22 vs 3 players isnt a very strong hand. Against 3 random hands it's only a 20% fav. The fact that there's been a raise and a reraise probably makes your chances of winning even worse.

I also dont like the shove on this flop (although can understand due to your stack) because chances are someone could be slow playing the jacks too or have them after you.

In the end you were a little unlucky but yeah a fold preflop for me and wait for a spot to shove all in. With your stack a flat call preflop isn't a great idea. I think a shove all in preflop is actually a better move than the flat call but I wouldn't advise that either. If any others limp/raise too (as three did here) virtually every flop doesnt look good for you unless you hit trips (odds of 1 to 8.5 of hitting trips with pocket pair) and you're out of position (one of the first to act). You also can't really call an all-in reraise because at best it'll be a coin flip and at worst you could be dominated by a higher pair (less than 20% fav).

ps welcome to the site and forum
