Never really got the fuss about the Simpsons, watched a few episodes that make me chuckle but no LOL

Family Guy on the other hand shocks, offends and makes me LOL a lot

Iv added some other popular ones but personally iv never seen a lot

OTHER CASSICS ARE THE THELMA AND LOUISE EPISODE (MARG AND HER FRIEND) AND  THERES A CAR CHASE IN THE DARK.WELL CHIEF WIGGUM IS CHASING AND MARG AND FRIEND SWITCH OFF THERE CAR LIGHTS.
WIGGUM'S RESPONSE IS ' ITS A GHOST CAR' WAS LAUGHING SO MUCH TEARS WERE STREAMING FROM MY EYES.

I love them both, to be fair I don't think they'd be a Family Guy if the Simpsons hadn't been created, but Family Guy has taken cartoon comedy onto a new level & is more adult orientated. The Simpsons isn't as consistently funny as it used to be but that's understandable cos they've been going for over 20 seasons so they're running out of ideas, the odd gem still pops up now & again though.

The simpsons used to be the best, but i think Family Guy has taken the baton and is funnier more often than the simpsons,and Stewey is definitely my favourite character from family guy, but Homer Simpson is an icon.Both great shows!

Family Guy - I've just bought the eight seasons box set for Christmas although I think Ren & Stimpy is very underated.

I just voted, and have levelled the head to head between family guy and simpsons at 8-8.

Family Guy is certainly more adult orientated, which is why it gets my vote.  Simpsons has always been good, but where it will make me smile, i laugh out loud at family guy. 

They go a bit too far on occasion mind you...

family guy is a lot funnier and the simpsons have run out of stuff to do for a while now, cant be long till they stop making it? As much of a great series its been the recent new episodes have been rubbish

the strange thing with family guy is that it was ditched in america for a couple of years wasnt it?  Then they brought it back and its taken off in a big way.  A bit like those singles that bands would re-release after they got better known.

I think family guy has been cancellrd twice but due to the huge dvd sales worldwide it keeps on going.

Simpsond i would say is more a life long friend but unfortunatly it ran out of stuf a while age other than the occasional plot from matt but its gotta be Family Guy
