this is going too far

if the villian is wanting to leave the tournament then why did they join it.
i can't think of any other reason a villian shoves with middle pair preflop.
if he calls he still has chips and with my JJ still being an overpair a bet on the flop followed by a shove on the turn would probably get called so they still get the chips but would not have rneed to hope for it.

He played the 1st hand fine its perfectly reasonable to 3 bet jam 30 bigs in that spot.  Second hand you should be minimum raising pre to like 150 5xing is just crazy.  If you make a normal size raise he flats with 7s and we play some poker because your raise is so massive you have only given him 2 options jam or fold and hes opted to jam.  By making it 5x pre you dont achieve anything.

You say you raise more to give a better sign? This makes no sense.
Do you really want your opponent to know you have a big pair?
This is why you keep your raises to a similar size to disguise what you have.
He is not jamming hoping to hit a set. He is hoping you have nothing or Ax and is obv willing to flip if you do.
You want this all day long.

JJ is a one of them pairs i just hate UTG and i loose with it so much when i am UTG by just going small so i just wanted to get it over with prflop.

pocket jacks is a very big hand you shouldnt hate it

I would class Jacks as a middle pair to be honest. Any, Q, K or A on the flop and you don't really know where you are. UTG for me it's 2, 3 or 4x raise and then see what happens with a decent stack then it depends on who is calling or raising. Big enough to jam short stacked.

    Results orientated FTW!!

You hate jacks but you've posted 2 hands above both with JJ, both you've got it in pre as a massive favourite. The result is irrelevant, in both cases you are effectively winning 80% of the pot longterm.

If I kept getting people jamming into me with 77/88 when I had JJ, I'd be a rich man!

How can you guarantee you would be a rich man? Replay the hand 1000 / 100,000 / 1,000,000 times and the 7's or 8's could still come on top, only on skypoker anyway.
