To not lower the tone.........I had mine done exactly 4 years ago and they stitched me up on a vein!! Needless to say when i was meant to be recovering that night, i was actually constantly bleeding and had to go back into the surgery the next day and have it all opened up again and restitched properly   So, if u survive the first op you'll be doing better than i did lol!!!

The actual operation isnt as bad as its made out to be and as long as u lay for a few days u'll be absolutely fine.

I Thaught you lot would say, ner its not to bad m8 ,i had it done and it felt like a sharp p,r,i;ck at first to numb the pain then just a bit uncumf for a few days ,ive got a footy match 2 days l8r ,wimen get it easy ,,,,lol

Don't they do this as keyhole surgery now? A friend of mine had it done it the GP surgery an apart from being in a bit of pain for the first couple of days he was fine
