when you 3bet with jj, you should have a reason. i.e. are you 3betting because he'll call with worse and we can extract value that way but we have to fold to a 4bet because his 4betting range is so narrow? Or are we 3betting to shove over a 4bet. I don't think 3betting and calling a 4bet is that good 100bb effective, deeper it is, but w/out good reads you'll just be burning money. I wouldn't get into the habit of doing this, but 3bet/folding JJ can be ok vs certain players

hand 1 we should either fold to his 4bet or 3bet/5bet imo

    hand 2 isn't bad

Ignoring your actual hand, hand 1 is played very poor. At 100bbs (or less) you should never be flat calling a 4-bet. (There are exceptions - such as flatting with AA/KK because you know your opponent will put in the rest of their stack no matter what OTF but usually shoving is almost as good +ev) If you think their range includes worse hands for value and/or bluffss then you should be happy to 5-bet all in becaue it will be a +ev play. If you think his range for 4-betting is very strong then you can fold your JJs to the 4-bet. Yes, we 3-bet for value initially but only because we think we'll get a call with worse. When we get shown aggression back to us then forget you have JJ and just pretend you have a small pair and fold.

As a general rule in cash games you want to play JJ like a small pair against tight opponents and against loose opponents you can be more happy to give them action. (and play them like big pairs pre-flop)

Hand 1 is gonna be dynamic/reads based. Villains bet sizings is pretty ridiculous however. Open 4bb, 4bet to 33bb is pretty big. If villain always bets this big then maybe I'd just go with a flat pre and play some pokers. Wouldn't have a problem with 3bet/5bet line but you can't flat the 4bet and then play fit/fold on the flop vs that size its just a sure way of bleeding money.

    Hand 2 looks OK.

Hand 1: Reraise him all in pre, or fold pre. The flop is pretty dry, looks like you're only folding because an overcard came out, which is pretty tame. Do you genuinely believe he's outdrawn you here or are you just bottling it?

Hand 2: Any reads on opponent? Is it impossible for him to double/triple barrel bluff? Are the only hands he's got here 8's or Qs? AA or KK? Or is it possible hes got AK? TT? etc?
