Need some help please regarding bonus

edited April 2013 in Poker Chat
Hi,

I made my first deposit today and deposited just under £3000.

I emailed support to ask what I had to do to get the first deposit bonus credited to my account and received this reply:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi *****

Many thanks for your e-mail.

You have taken the £10 Poker welcome bonus, this is split into 4 tokens which can be used for entry into the poker tournaments on our site and will be used automatically when you enter.

As you have taken this welcome offer, you wouldn't be entitled to any other welcome offer unfortunately.

If you could please send details of the promo code that you have received so that we can look into this further for you, that would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Mary
Customer care team

I didn't once click that I wanted a free £10 token or whatever it is. I just deposited £3000 for goodness sake :/

Is there any Sky staff on the forums that could help me out please as I can't get onto live chat either.

Thanks in advance

Yeah I wasn't expecting any more than that but surely I'm entitled to the full £500?

For every 500 poker* points you earn, Sky will credit you with £10 within 72 hours

    * Up to a value of £500

well if the code was in then its another example of customer care not having much of a clue, they are completely hit or miss, you could go back on and get an advisor who will tell you everything. if its been entered i'd ask them to email to confirm you are qualifying for it as by the sounds of it you should be

Yup I saw that and I'm at 250 points just now.

It just worried me as I didn't see anything relating to the bonus anywhere in my account and the reply from customer support suggests that I am not entitled to a bonus. Really strange.

No I think, you get 30 days to clear the bonus but it takes 72 hours from the time you hit 500 points to have the £10 increment credited to the account.

you are getting confused. to get the full £500 you need 25k points in 30 days. you get £10 deposited into your account every time you pass a 500 point threshold and this £10 can take 72 hours to hit your account

Spoke to livechat who were a lot easier to deal with.

Can confirm that the deposit bonus is credited to my account.

I don't know if the support team whom I had emailed thought that I thought that the bonus should be instant. I didn't at all.

Glad to get it sorted :)
