Ive never seen so many quads

I play 3 poker sites and they all meet my needs this one too,But ive never seen so many quad hands in my life as i have on here. This is by no means a complaint because ive had about 5 quad hands on here but on the other sites ive probably had 5 quad hands in the 3 years and ive only been on sky a month,Keep it up if i keep getting the 5555,9999,AAAA,2222,2222.

    variance

also remember sky is 6 max, meaning less cards delt, dont think it makes a huge diff but that means less chances of ur cards dealt out. Therefore a small chance increase of it being dealt on board.

Some peeps think the odds are similar - but 6max = 12 cards dealt pre-flop and most other sites are 10 players which is 20 cards pre-flop, so I think it is much more logical to see this kind of thing happen on a 6max table imo

I could be wrong but that seems like backwards thinking :s

Surely it's the complete opposite and it's more likely on a full ring table and that's why we should be tighter on a full ring table. More hands being dealt, more hands in play, more chance that someone will make X hand. In the same way that, if you're playing HU, making TP is massive, making TP multiway in a 10handed game... not so massive.

Again, like Omaha, more cards out there, so quads become much more likely than in hold 'em.

Why would shorter handed tables mean increased odds of a particular hand?

I put it down to running good,Im sure it does help only being on 6 max tables in all fairness the other sites i play are 10 handed so you may be right about more chance to hit quads on 6 max.Thank you for your comments and see you on the tables

things like quads and straight flushes i think the odds of hitting them on a 6 table compared to a 10 table can be quite hard to know which is more likely. on 10 handed tables i think the odds that quads will come for any villian are increased but the odds that you will be the villian who hits it are decreased and vis versa with 6 hand tables.

what gets me thinking this myself is when i was on 10 seated tables i saw so many more times when two people had AA preflop whereas on the 6 seated tables i hardly ever see two hold the same hand combo.
