currency questions from a number of Irish players, some clarification especially if you don't have a Sky Poker account and want to play

Sky Poker offer Euro currency accounts so….

All accounts opened at the venue for new sky poker customers who have cashed will be offered in GBP or EURO.

    Assuming Euro account chosen:

Winnings will be converted from GBP to Euro at the exchange rate we fixed on Saturday at 12pm (I.E. The same as the direct buy ins)

The funds will therefore be credited into the customers’ sky poker accounts in euro’s and withdrawn – there will be no need for their bank to convert. We offer debit/credit cards, paypal, moneybookers, neteller or bank transfer (docs required) as payment methods.

N.B Customer’s will need to verify their accounts before withdrawing, the easiest way to do this is with a passport which can be done online (or we can verify at the venue if they have it with them)

Players coming back for day 2  bring their passports with them on Sunday to help this process, please

    Assuming GBP account chosen:

Winnings are credited in GBP to the sky poker account, the customer can withdraw the funds and their bank will convert to euros (the customer’s bank may levy a charge here)
