I have been informed by Tikay that there will be £1.10 PLO8 tournaments scheduled each evening.

I for one would like to thank Sky for listening to the regulars who play PLO8, who have been asking for these to be scheduled.

Hopefully these will be well supported by the regs, and will be affordable enough for all players who fancy giving PLO8 a go.

p.s.  While Sky are in a listening mood, can we have £1.15 and £3.30 DYMs too

Tournament numbers 19 and 13, was good fun playing both for £2.20.

Would have helped if they were £25gtd 

And 2.20 ones would be nice too, could do a few £50gtd

But nope all there is 100gtd 5.50 buy in, isnt that a bit odd when its a game that needs to attract NEW players

This is proving harder than it should be imho, the proposed weekly league has not made much headway, such a shame id love to play a big field PLO8 tourney, has there ever been one?

I agree with you on the whole, the game on Sky has around 30  regs or so who play.  It would be great if there were a bigger pool of players.  The introduction of the £1.10 tournaments in the evenings is a start, making the game affordable to try out.  The DYMs situation should be looked at also, as there are regs who play the £2.25, but do not play the £5.50.  A £3.30 level could be beneficial, plus a £1.15 level to encourage new players.

I don't think I've seen a field above 30 on Sky.
