Why is Sky Poker's rake so high?

I play a lot of sit n go's (badly!) and have noticed that Sky Poker's rake is very high. For instance, all of the big name sites have "standard" rakes for SNG's which are generally accepted as:

6 seat+: 10%
Heads Up: 5%
Double Your Money: 4% to 10%

Of particular concern is the low stakes Double Your Money games where the rake can be as high as 20% (based on the 0.25 + 0.05 games). Even the big stake games have a 10% rake (i.e. £50 + £5) I know that quite a few sites take 10% rake but anything over that is just plain greedy. Poker is a tough game at the best of times and you'd have to be something special to cover the 20% rake AND show a long term profit. How about having a fixed rate of 10% across the board? It's not very competitive but is still reasonable enough to keep customers in the games...
