so villain is good, havent played with him a great deal though i dont think so dont really have any reads. its BvB so he can have anything really, including 4's, 3 5, pairs below JJ i guess. I have a good hand though right and it would pain me to give it up. Do you think i should?

also i think it would help if people put titles more like this so people know whether its a cash hand or tournament hand. I have to keep clicking on threads because i forget what the hand inside was about.

if he really is a good player he would know the 2 is not a good 2nd barrell card for you, so could probably assume you have a strong holding. I think if he elected to smooth call the flop with any pair through to jacks he would do the same on the turn. I would probably lay this down and wait for the seat to his left to come free then sit in it lol

    BUT

if you want to continue in this hand, instead of shoving i feel you should call here, then check call or check down any river.

    Yeah, you're def not folding.

I'd probably shove, but I kind like flatting and leading for like 1/5 pot on the river vs thinking villains to induce.

FWIW I like checking the turn, its really dry and only a few combination of hands (TT/JJ), combined with good river cards (2,4,6,9) you will get three streets of value from. Also by checking, you keep the pot smaller and don't have this difficult decision for your stack on the turn.

This is a fold in most situations, but very villain dependant on Sky. Hint at villains name?

i dunno about checking turn, seems like he can get to showdown too cheaply with his overpairs if he puts a blocking bet out on the river. i definitely didnt like the raise on the turn though so i guess it has some merit.

Ladyfingers is right, im defintely not folding, too much of a calling station...
