Hi there, most of you will remember my heads up diary. I decided not to continue with that because the new blinds did not suit my game, so i was thinking what else could i do. When i first started playing on the site i was quite successful at DYMs. I have played from 3 pounds all the way up to 200 pounds. So i have 300 pounds in my account and i am going to start at £5.50 level and try and work my way all the way back up. By doing this diary it will give me something to write and you something to read and also keep me in the bubble. The first thing i am going to do is play 3 x 100 games if i get past 55 wins on each 100 games then i will give £11 a go. Hopefully this will be a long term diary and any imput is welcome. Lets get this show on the road and see you at the tables

Thanks for the comments guys. Just finished my first big session and to be honest it was a big learning curve. Since i have been playing these levels of DYMS the standard i feel has gone up, maybe because people have worked them out now, only time will tell. I finished by playing 20, winning 10 and losing 10 which is a 10 pound loss, so not great but i am sure it will improve. If im being honest though i dont feel i played very well at all as i feel im calling too many 50/50 chances and i have too get it back into my head that i need to be +56% to be making a profit so these 50/50 calls are not going to help me in the long run. Anyway not too worried i knew this was not going to be plain sailing but im sure once i slot back into my normal routine that gave me so much success a few years back then the results will start too come

Good luck. I used to have a great win rate withthese a year ago but starting aagain now at the 5.50's I'm having a hard time. I think it's mainly trying to get back into the play style that's stumping me!

If you are just starting back after a while, why not play the 3 pound games to start off with? To get you back into the swing of things.

Hi there LARSON

The only reason i am starting at this level is because i feel my bankroll suits this level well, and i dont expect to make a massive loss in the long run as i feel my game is good enough for this level. By any chance do you or anybody else know where i can track down the JohnConnor diary off here from about a year back on DYMS. I found it very useful and was going to read it again but i dont seem to be able to track it down.

Thanks for that mate, thats a great help . As for the updates i wont do them every second as sometimes i only play a few at a time. So i will update every 20 games

Well just finished my latest set of 20 games and i played a lot better. Although i did have a lot of players catch up against me with some interesting plays. In the end i won 12 and lost 8 so a little bit of a return so cant complain. The £5.50 level is very interesting though as you seem to get your rock type players and then there are the action junkies who cause carnage by raising everything. I feel overall though now ive read johnconnors blog im finding the right mindset again for these games so we will see how we go in the future
