Fair enough.  Kings call on the river is terrible.   Also never 3x Kings , but min raise weaker opening hands .....  massive give away.

good luck, may I suggest 1 thing tho, maybe update either at the breaks or after the tourny. I know you wanted to do a live update but surely soley focusing of the tables will help you gain info and just generally be more focused on the task at hand.

I certainly find when I cut all the distractions (i.e facebook, tv, forum etc) I tend to go much further and notice much more. Just an idea :)

It's not the best runout. But we gotta ask ourselves, bearing in mind how the hand played out, how many 8s or 3s are in our oppo's range? On a K75 board, would our villain donk lead with a hand that contained either an 8 or 3? And what 8 or 3 could they really have? K8 maybe. Would be a strange line to take with pocket 8s or 3s. But think of all the hands they could have that we can get value from on the river. Numerous 2 pairs, Kx hands plus set's that have equally got scared of the run out.

Was a fun couple of hours, never really had much run good, best hand was the set of 7s.

The hands up here (this is my take on them):

Pocket 8s, 1267 i said i think he has air, cause he folded for 400 into a pot of 1500. I bet small for a reason, which i won't go into, was happy to see the fold. Maybe it was a lower pocket pair. He's not that strong, imo, folding to such a small bet.

Set of 7s, like the call on the flop, like the raise on the turn, on the river yeah, i know better players are betting there. Definatly missed out on value. I was thinking, i don't want to bet and be reraised, if he reraises i'm never folding. Took the easy path, checking.

A8 that was just terrible! and should of been a fold pre.

With the kings hand, the small bet, less than 1/3rd pot, it could be a queen/ raggy ace. Never putting oppo on a gut shot lol, i think i need to repop it here. On the turn, it's an even smaller bet, i think i am good here, but don't want to enfate the pot incase it is a raggy ace. On the river, hits his gut shot x2! He could still be doing this with a queen, it is such a small bet 750 into 2175, i don't totally hate the call here. But maybe i've just got that wrong?

Boles yeah you are spot on! I just wanted to do this for my 1st 2 games, might give something else like this a go in a couple of weeks with a good few games played. And hopefully the nxt time i've got a bit more run good!

1267 yeah mate you are right about bet sizing being a tell. However, on the table, there was quite a lot of loose calls getting made, a min raise could see 3/4 callers. I don't want to be seeing a flop multi-way.

At higher levels, a min raise does the job, it's a lot looser at the lower levels.

defo keep updating and trying new things. For me concentration is the key but I can imagine a lot of people will give you the same advice.

The other thing I will say on that matter is make sure when you enter a tourny you are up for a long game. For example this evening I was well up for a game, but I realised I was shattered from work and although I fancied a game, I knew I would lack the concentration or patience to do well. When you play cash you can always log quick 30 min session and if you don't feel it come away with little damage, with tournys you waste a big in and these soon add up (I know)

anyhow i def think you got the right plan, stick with the low buy in deepies and you will get loads of play, loads of different spots to anaylise and before long your MTT game will come on leaps and bounds

Hey Larson, interesting idea. Agree with Andy that posting Live probably not a good idea, especially as you're not likely to be getting much Live feedback that's going to help. Definitely interesting following the play at different stages of a tournament, so note down your hand IDs and post them when you're done, stay focussed.

KK, just let them go! I don't think we should ever just shut our ears and eyes and say "I don't put you on an ace", the turn card is not good as it brings in QJ but also means there are lots of horrible rivers we don't want to see, and the extra J on the river doesn't help.  He's donked 3 times...

Set of 7s. Tough to bet-call that river, and I wouldn't want to bet fold. I don't mind a check behind to seal it and move on, but I can definitely understand that the 3 or 8 should never be in the range.

First exit, oppo 3x raise UTG, I personally wait for a better spot, we're only getting called by better than ATo and can sit for a couple more orbits before doing anything we might regret. But better players than me might disagree. Second exit is pretty standard.

    Yeah i wouldnt post live.

If you have sticky notes put HH ID in that with your thought process and post up later imo. Also allows u to review more.

Will have a proper look tomorrow (not in great mindset) and give some opinions.

most obv concern is the bet sizing - too early to be 2xing with the A rag - yes fold pre but if you want to play it make it look like KK not A rag!

gr8 idea - but hard not to distract yourself.......
