50 NL IS KK A CLEAR FOLD HERE?

edited December 2009 in Hold'em Poker Strategy
Everytime I see ppl talking about folding KK preflop 100bbs deep I think to myself this hand made me think whether there was something about this nitty folding kk preflop dilemma.

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
BTN: $50.00
SB: $43.90
BB: $50.00
Hero (UTG): $50.00
UTG+1: $50.80
UTG+2: $50.75
MP1: $49.75
MP2: $69.15

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is UTG with K K
Hero calls $0.50, 2 folds, MP1 raises to $2.50, 4 folds, BB raises to $7.50, Hero raises to $17.50, MP1 raises to $49.75 all in

BB timebank folded so I guess he had something in the lines of JJ/QQ maybe AK there, Villain has 3% 3bet and 0% 4bet over 210 hands. When this happenned I was not thinking too clear and tbh slightly tilted due to running bad during the session and I remmember thinking "I guess I'm gonna need a king here..".. which is obv superbad.

But if we try to read this hand in a clearer state of mind, can we really lay this down?

Villain is a 10/7/3 reg.

Cliffs :

limp utg witk kk
Mp1 raises, bb 3 bets, hero 4bets, mp1 5bets(!), bb folds.
KK facing a 5bet preflop after strength has obviously been showed.
Is any1 getting away from this?
