Big has quite a strong hand here on the flop. I'm definatly getting looked up in one spot here. No idea what Bob is playing with, they are a bit random and can have any too. Big is quite a tight regular ABC Player.

I'll show the result later on, Funky hand!

We think "Big" has a big hand and is definitely calling but we're still getting it in on the flop?

If we're sure that a shove is getting called here, then why do we want to make the shove? We're not much of a favourite against any big made hand and we're a substantial dog if our Ace is no good.

It's a great spot to shove if we can get folds some of the time and if we might ever get it in as a favourite. Your reads suggest that's not the case, so we're hoping to be flipping at best. Obviously the third player involved may adjust our pot odds but, if Bob folds to our shove, we're getting odds of about 45% against Big's stack...

If we know that we're always going to be called by a better made hand, then shoving is effectively calling all-in and our equity is likely to be less than we need to be if your reads are correct.

What makes you so sure that Big is definitely holding a made hand and is definitely calling, though? You might be right but if there's any chance you're wrong then shoving becomes a lot better. If you can't get folds, then call the flop bet to see a turn. Maybe you can take it down on the turn without hitting or you can get away if it's a bad card for you, with the board pairing, and one of the villain's bets.

It is a fairly big shove, I suppose, but are your really going to raise here to £1.50 when they're playing stacks of £4? I think shoving is better than raising less.

They're clearly strong and still have 100xBB behind. If you shove and get called, they will be favourite to win pretty much 100% of the time.

A good scenario for us would be if they were as weak as 8T and they're still a decent favourite with that. Even if they're as weak as AT they're still a favourite.

We're just getting it in bad here all the time. Even if you get folds, you've probably wasted the value of getting such a lovely flop. If the turn is a club, doesn't mean everyone is just gonna snap fold.

calling seems best, your a dog versus range

if you raise less, then you have to make it enough so when oppo shoves u have to call re: pot odds

    shoving is not great

Lol I did take it 2 far lol
I thought big had an overpair, I,m happy getting it in on this flop, it's so hard  2 put someone on a set.
    I should have re raised 2 about 1.2 2 snap of a shove. .
Open shoving was overkill, I was on Positive tilt.
I,m not a massive dog if my ace is live I'm dlightly ahead

You're in bad shape virtually 100% of the time

If he has JJ, he's a favourite.
