My plan was to call any bet on the river even if another diamond came, i didnt expect the all in, would the villian really do this with Ad or the 10d thinking i had the A? after the check raise on the flop i thought it was possible so folded. 

Would like some thoughts on my line of calling the raise and only checking the turn. I had been quite active at the table and tangled with villian 1 a few times which he got the better of me without showdown.

If nothing else its a very disclipined fold, Probably the right one as well as he has doubled the pot in all fairness this is either a very good bluff or a bad play on the part of the villian if he had the nuts then there is no sense in shoving this gives you the safe option out.

3rd nuts. Villain line looks dodgy; Raise flop to then check turn and ship river. I'll eat my hat if he doesn't have the A or 10 of diamonds. 

Unless you have notes saying they can spew off with junk, it's a fold.

100% fold.  Villain is never doing this with anything less than the Ace.  My guess would be the 10 of diamonds hoping youre holding the ace trying to get max value.
