Schoolboy error by me not entering selections at this stage of the competition. I'm running out of time. Luckily it wasn't a high scoring week. Good work MsTree. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
At least you have the excuse of not entering selections. My zero score last week came despite entering scores!!
+1 to the good work MsTree. Will have to get you voted onto TOTP at the end of season if you havent been on already for this thread.
Gameweek 39 fixtures: Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa Fulham vs Norwich Southampton vs Cardiff Stoke vs Newcastle Sunderland vs Everton W.B.A vs Tottenham Strange kick-off time this week, all entries must be submitted before 3:07p.m Saturday 12th April Gl all this week Posted by ms-tree
Matches in the top five divisions of English football this weekend will kick off seven minutes later than originally planned in tribute to the 96 supporters who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster.
The tragedy unfolded at Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest on 15 April 1989, with the game halted six minutes after kick-off as players became aware of events in Sheffield.
The delay in kick-off times for matches taking place between Friday and Monday recognises that fact, with a further minute of silence to follow before games get under way.
Football rivalries and banter go out of the window at a time like this. I have nothing but sympathy and admiration for the families who have to relive the events of that tragic day over and over, but hopefully, justice will come and those who failed in their duty of care on 15 April 89 will face the consequences - albeit 25 years too late. I'll be at a game this weekend and will be observing the minutes silence like all others.... It is an event that should not (and will not) ever be forgotten. Hope for Hillsborough - JFT96 ..........
I hope fans respect the 25 years this weekend, please respect it.
