you have 47.5% equity against that exact hand + fold equity + hard to get paid after you hit + you wont ever have < 35% equity, even against a set or made straight... easy shove

EASY PUSH, your opponant could have had many different conecting cards in this situation and although you will have to hit to win "if going to showdown" there is always the possibility of your opponant folding the leading hand after the flop, and picking up the money he has already invested without showdown is never a bad thing....

Anytime I have a pair and drawing to the nut flush, I'm getting it in regardless. Pretty much no reason to ever do anything but get chips in the middle ASAP, you've got anywhere from 9 to 14 outs if you're behind, and there's always the possibility you're already ahead against a smaller fl draw or straight draw. I'd always be shoving and I'd probably call an allin with it too, if there's a reasonable amount in the pot already.

Cool, OK so you all seem to think it was the right move. The worry was, he made the FH on the river, so it was the only card in the deck the Js that helped me win this hand. I didn't want to get results orientated.

I think you should flat the flop raise against a villain who over limps then calls your raise and suddenly c/r that flop. He won't fold anything that beats you to a 3b, you have great direct odds and its likely he will pay you off if you hit

People who think always get pair+draw in regardless of villain are wrong imo, prob a decent argument for doing it here though
