When I finished 2nd in the main and 1st in the mini, missing out on a £10k jackpot in september.  Don't think I slept for a week.

I never miss sleep due to poker, for me it's the other way round. I work a night shift so have to sleep during the day and, as I keep getting woken up, I often doze off in my armchair whenI could be playing so you could say I get minimal poker due to sleep.

Have a great show. (If i can stay awake long enough I'll watch most of it tomorrow)

    Hi Jules & Ryan
Hope you have a great show.

    Minimal Sleep Due to Poker........
I qualified for SPT Birmingham this year and decided to make a weekend of it and play the Friday Night side event which started at 8pm.

I managed to cash in 16th place, but my exit didn't happen until 5.30AM Saturday morning. So by the time I left the casino & went back to my hotel it was 6.30AM. I was back up at 8AM for breakfast and then had to meet my brother who was arriving at 9.30AM - He hadn't eaten yet, so we went to a cafe so he could have breakfast and then onto the casino at 12PM (Noon)

The SPT Main event started at 2PM and I didn't get knocked out until 8PM, however, my brother was still in and so were a few players from our team on Sky (Team Poker Titans)

One of our members "JAC35" Took it down so I stayed to rail him all night. I eventually went back to the Hotel atl 4AM Sunday morning and went to bed for some well needed sleep :)

best of luck with the show guys

    Last nights rebuy.

Oppo has been playing very tight and would rarely just with a single pair on a flop.  Maybe its a pair/straight/flush draw combo however I thought It wasnt worth playing for stacks at this stage of the tournament especially being out of position on a wet board with no clue where I am in the hand.

    This too tight a fold?

Yayyyyyyy.  Pleased with that fold.  Pondered over that one for the rest of the tournament.

MC7 Hand History #682786992 (11:28 22/08/2013)cover cards can we call this river? ;)

My thinking is if he doesn't bet that flop he is weak, when he opens the turn it looks like 1 big club, as the club draw didn't come in I think I can put him on overs and was calling the river far weaker in all honesty

Its OK Scotty... I forgive you.  *removes picture from dartboard*

i guess i had been unconfident because of how much I've been missing hands in MTTs this week
the only reason i'm in that is because i got into the main through a sat and at the minute i'm at opposite ends of the chip stack and the best part is the main is where i'm at the right end with 8.2K compared with just 1.1K in the mini

am playing the main event for the first time tonight as a new player. doing ok so far, would make my night if I had a good luck comment from ryan!

    Minimal sleep.....

Last years Sky Poker Tour Main Event, I attended on Friday evening and was drinking well into the early morning and playing some Tighty SnG's (I'm sure Ryan will explain), I finally left Dusk til Dawn in really quite a tangle at 3.30am (unbelievably my wife drove out to collect me).  I think I made it to bed just before 5am.  I was then woken up at 10am on the Saturday feeling horribly hung over for the 2pm start of the Main Event.

What ensued was one of the mentally most draining days of my life as I somehow managed to grind my way through to the end of day1 which finished around about 2.30am.  I remember at one point sam1986 very kindly decided to introduce himself to me and try to engage me in conversation and I literally couldn't string a sentence together.  I can also remember being unable to count out my bet at one stage.

After getting home at around 4.00am, I couldn't sleep (largely due to excessive caffeine consumption and adrenaline) and finally got to sleep around 6am before having to get up again around 11am to go back for day 2.

Anyways, in my delirious state I managed to limp my way to the final table alongside Ryan for one of my best ever tournament results.  Perhaps the moral of the story is sleep less for the win!  Who Knew?

well i am astonish to be still in tonights mains and it will recover all the losses of my recent MTT's the best part about it is this is my first big MTT to have registered and it was through sat.
the most shocking thing of all is the amount of luck i have been getting not only do i rarely loose my hands i am in but their were so many which i could have won that i folded pre but most of them are raggy hands and it's the final table i want to try getting not heads.
