Why is it before the table breaks up to 2 tables or 3 tables etc
The short stack seems to lose when going all in i see thie alot say theres 19 players left so 4 tables if the shorty goes all in and gets called they lose dnt matter about the cards
same if there is 13 players etc 3 tables shorty shoves gets called the big stack wins so they get 2 tables asap

He has called an ALL-IN, he has JJ the other guy has 10 10, He has called an ALL IN he has 5-2!!!!! against A-K and he hits 5's the A-K missing completely, There are a few other examples over a few hands leaving him with 15000 chips at level 2.
No skill on his part, some times you just know whats going to happen.
This cannot be a serious post?? If there are 13 tables and the short stack loses it will ALWAYS go to 2 tables but if the shorty wins then you don't notice this as it doesn't change anything.
However why is it whenever I 4 bet pre with 22 there are always loads of overs on the flop!! ????
He may gat a double up and no longer be the shortstack, but then someone else will be the shortstack.
The short stack is usually shoving quite wide too, so is at a bigger risk of losing a flip.
Good to see your coping well with variance IDCU!
When it does happen you notice it more, it reinforces the premise and is unbalanced evidence. It's just how the brain works sometimes.
And you'll get plenty of occurrences of this as when we're on any sort of bubble bigger stacks refuse to get in marginal spots with each other in general but will spin a shortie with a wider range. And you can't break a table until someone busts.
Hope your still running good at the tables? or need I ask

"....it's always got to be the shorter stack that gets knocked out, as the shorty is unable to knock anyone else out..."
Beautifully put, by POKERTREV.
I'd like a quid for every time I've seen someone complain "why is it the short stack always busts?". I'd be a millionaire by now. The mind truly boggles, the Boggle-Meter is off the Boggle Scale.
