I give up

I give up, sick of the beats on the bubble of UKOPs sats. I have now bubbled, 15 if not more of these, in the vast majority i have got it in good.

£150 wasted,

So stuff it. Enjoy

    fold the bubble next time
  • edited August 2013
I don't know whats more annoying not getting in via sat or getting in then busting out in 10 minutes by some huge bad beat or suckout !
  • edited August 2013
So i jsut bubbled number 16. On the bubble every single player doubled at least once. The one time i get it in i lose.

    Well fing played

Any chance of posting some of your bubble hands? The chance of bubbling in that many tournaments is impossible if your playing the bubble of a satellite well.  If other players in the tournament have short stacks, you simply don't need to play any hand. Fold, fold and fold some more. AQ seems nice on the BTN, but why risk shoving and potentially going out when you can fold your way into a satellite seat?

what are the stack sizes on the bubble or is 1 seat only
  • edited August 2013
I think most are standard, a large number where one seat only, my HU game seems to be weak atm so defo going to say I need to work on that.

I'll post some of the hands so you can see though.

    1) this was the last one I was slightly ul in this spot, 5 seats, nothing for 6th. 7 left I had both tables open and shortys kept sucking out in all in spots. Like 7 or 8 times. Obviously I have no control of that, my table also didn't seem to have to much hassle and I never got called. Once onto the FT the guy to my left timed out every hand, and the BB went up on my BB. I had been spot dead, but this is the exit hand given stack sizes I don't think I have much choice? (I have added one more stack size which might change ur mind)

all standard to me just run better
  • edited August 2013
Most of them granted seem fine, especially the 1st one. When you get to less than 3bb even in a satellite you have to gamble unless there's someone on only 1bb! 2nd one I think you don't have to gamble though. Sucks that the opponent is shoving a wide range, but why not let someone else take the gamble with them? 3 obv the same as one, fine. 4. Seems like no need for this but then don't know the other stack sizes. 5. I guess it's OK given they flip over K3s but again, would rather not gamble in this spot if there are similar short stacks to me.
